Within 2 minutes of being in the room, we saw one big roach and then a small one. Couldn’t get a refund from them because I booked through a third party.

Lobby was beautiful but the rest of the facility was nasty. Carpets were filthy in the hallways and rooms. No counter space in bathroom. Towels were thin and clean. Whatever was used to launder caused an itchy skin.

EXCEPTIONAL even w/o refrigeration and microwave

I was solo! It was quiet and very comfortable. Even though my stay was during the French Quarter Fest and there was a huge soccer game prior to, my stay was quite exceptional!!! Staff were friendly, helpful and certainly professional. There weren’t a refrigerator nor microwave in the room, nonetheless, my over all stay was to my liking. I would definitely return and would recommend to other.

Unfortunately, the pool was closed due to “seasonal” reasons. But other than that, the stay was good. It was close to major highways and had gas stations and grocery stores and restaurants all in walking distances.

The property has dead end halls and can be confusing for some. The hotel has alot of things that needs improvement as far as the "quality" of the hotel rooms. If looking for a quick place to sleep, it will do the job. Didnt have any bugs or anything and was clean. Alot of outside activity going on at night like people hanging out in the parking lots smoking weed and drinking.

Convenient and Comfortable

This is our second time at this location. It is an older, affordable, but comfortable place to sleep for the night if you have an early flight. It is 5 minutes from the airport and convenient to many dining locations. Its not the kind of place you stay at for a vacation, but its perfect for a one night stay.

Front desk staff were nice, Michael from maintenance was awesome! Wanted to heat water for tea using the coffee pot. It was dirty and left brown chunks in my cup. The A/C blew heat when it wasn't blowing cold air. So bizarre. I requested that housekeeping leave more coffee supplies and take out trash while I was out for the day. That didn't happen. Carpet is old and filthy. Beds were clean, just a little too soft for me. The hotel is close to the airport so that's convenient. It's probably alright for one night if you have an early flight the next day, but I won't stay there again.

Walked in the lobby to check in and the gentleman at the desk was speaking with another employee about female standing 10 feet away. Speaking for about 3 to 5 minutes while they continued talking back and forth as we stood there, with no acknowledgment of my wife and I, even though we were easily seen. Then, he goes to his computer, makes no eye contact, no hello, and says “Drivers License”… well we certainly felt I acknowledged and that set the tone for our stay. Also, later I called the front desk and said the tv doesn’t seem to work… the same guy said, “I gave you the instructions on the paper I gave you…. It only works on channels 6 and up”. Yes, I checked and he did give me a paper but was never told what the paper was for originally. Last, the ceiling in the room has peeling paint hanging down… does not give a feeling of cleanliness or health

An ok stay for what it was

Hotel offers airport shuttle, but does not specify that shuttle only runs from 7AM to 11PM, not good if you have a late arriving flight, or an early departure. This hotel does offer a shuttle to the cruise terminal, which was not advertised, but would have been good to know. Hotel seemed a little dated. It smelled musty and/or moldy in the hallways, but not so much in the room itself. Temperature controls in the room did not seem to work. They switched our room to a different room when the first one wouldn't cool down, but the second one wouldn't warm up.
