Just Okay. I wish I had paid attention to the reviews more and not booked because the construction in the lobby area was very inconvenient. No restaurant meant no morning coffee. The check in desk was a folding table situated near the front door. Very messy area - you think if they were still accepting guests there would have been some effort to make the welcome are somewhat more nice. Plus- as a convenience for guests- I would suggests free coffee in the morning to offset the closed restaurant. Don’t stay here until the Reno is done.

It was Ok we were no advised of the renovations going on. It was somewhat dusty and the bed was very noisy for just normal sleeping. Other then that the room was nice.

Unfortunately construction was occurring during my stay. The room had an odor of old moist towels. You could not call downstairs to get your car from Valet even though the makeshift front desk was literally steps from the valet stand. The front desk stafff was unhelpful.

Overall it was a nice stay in the room, however even though it was Thanksgiving the construction crew was actually working in the lobby. There is no self parking and valet is $40 per day. I feel the resort fee should have been waived since it's currently a construction zone.

We arrived at Marriott Courtyard on November 22, 2024 to find that the entire Lobby & 1st floor is under construction. We addressed this with Expedia and no resolution except for us to find a different hotel in 30 minutes which was the comment from the hotel manager. We are from Ohio and our first visit to New Orleans. We’ve been up that morning at 3:30 am to catch our flight to NOLA. Our room wasn’t ready so we went and had to find dinner. So by this time it was about 6:30 or 7 pm. The hotel didn’t have anything food, lobby to sit and chat nothing. Construction workers everywhere in lobby hammering, moving large pieces of materials, dirty, dark, disgusting. The valet employees was so nice & friendly. When o personally tried to resolve issue with manager he said we could stay the night & then move in morning. Which didn’t work for us because we had to find breakfast, store and head to Baton Rouge for there’s other day. Also, check in time for another hotel would’ve been 3 pm Saturday which we were heading to Baton Rouge at 1:00ish pm. Terrible stay with zero compensation!!!
