We wanted to stay somewhere that was close to public transportation, in the french quarter and close to the popular sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again

The staff was nice. The room had some broken outlets and holes in the wall. Felt safe here and was very convenient to Bourbon street.

Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was super friendly. The bed was comfortable in our first room, but we had to change rooms because out bathtub wouldn't drain. The bed in the room we were moved to wasn't as comfortable but not bad. The second room's bathroom had some sort of air leak and you could faintly smell sewage when the room above flushed their toilet. Overall, the room and bathroom were clean. Things were just really run down though. The carpets REALLY need to be cleaned. The parking situation is wonderful and the men who work the valet were awesome. Check out was super quick. The hotel is one block from Bourbon St. but you don't hear all the noise. Around 7:30 AM-ish you'll get an unwanted trash truck wake-up call. Overall, it's a decent hotel.

Just not a good stay
Most of the staff were very friendly if not completely trained. We overcharged for our stay and had a second staff member to fix it. Hopefully they did. It was very hot in the room. The ice machine on our floor was broken.

We have stayed here before and loved it. This time we stayed across the street in the Hermann house. The room was fine but the walls were very thin & we could hear everything in the rooms around us & above us. We figured it wouldn't be completely silent, so close to Bourbon St, but this was just room noise. Everything else was great. Fresh towels everyday & very comfy beds.

Offers a true French Quarter experience. Like the French Quarter, the Dauphine has seen better days and is starting to show its age. Some of the facilities could use upkeep, but it's still got it where it counts.
