Most of the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The items we were dissatisfied with: 1) we arrived hours before check-in and were told a room wasn’t ready. Then was told it would cost $90 for an early check in!! At 4:00 was again told no rooms were available (along with several other people). We did not get a room until 6 PM and was eventually offered compensation (extra drink tickets!) 2) The water pressure in the bathroom sink is AWFUL, slightly above a drip. No way the hotel could not be aware of this. 3) I have patronized several Embassy Suites around the country, the quality of the snacks at the “evening reception” was far below my experience at other Embassy Suites. This is traditionally considered one of the Embassy Suites “perks”, along with your breakfast. 4) The concierge was, most of the day, not available and when present, the response to questions was “I don’t know, I just do tours”!!

I am absolutely COVERED in bed bug bites immediately after leaving the hotel. I let the hotel know, and they offered their condolences, but made absolutely zero effort to make it right.

When we got there to check in, they told us there was a wait and we had to be put on the guest list and they advised us not to check in because some people have been waiting to check in since 10 AM and we got there at six and she had no idea when a room would be available so we actually never stayed here and we had to look for another hotel. Common courtesy would be to call the Gas and say not to show up because we don’t have any rooms available, but if you don’t have any rooms available then why except the booking

We were told we could check in a little earlier than 4pm since we came from out of town so we made it to the hotel at 3pm then told to come back at 4. Did that as well. We were not assigned a room until after 6:30pm the lobby was full of upset travelers! It was a horrible experience.

I love Embassy Suites. But not this one. They tried to charge me $90 to check in 11 minutes early. I didn’t do it. 15 mins later, my room wasn’t ready. 2 hours late, I got into my room. Some staff were amazing, others not up to the Embassy Suites level I’m used to. Room was nice and breakfast was decent. I’ll be looking another direction when I come back to New Orleans :(

When I tried to check in before 4, they said my room is ready but I cannot have it unless I give them $90. So we waited. At 4 they said my room now was NOT ready. We waited for many hours before they finally gave myself and my other family members a room. We missed our dinner reservations. I couldn't even get a shower so we had to go get fast food. Ruined our entire evening of plans after driving over 7 hours to town. This is the worst Embassy Suites I've ever been to.
