The room was half cleaned. It wasn't vacuumed nor was the bathroom properly cleaned. I use to be a housekeeper. So, I noticed it. I don't like seeing other people's hair left in the bathroom.

Jazz Fest rest
3 days going to New Orleans Jazz Festival. Nice bed, good standard breakfast, free parking in parking deck. A little arkward traffic pattern to get in and out, but after a couple times, we knew which way to go! Enjoyed our visit.

Let’s start with the positive. Location was good. Parking is very convenient. Room was quiet and the A/C worked well. Amenities were good as all necessities were available. The bad- there was no one at the check in desk when we arrived. We stood there for a while waiting for someone to show up. I finally started yelling “hello” for someone to come to the front. It was 2:00 in the afternoon. There was no toilet paper or hand sanitizer in the women’s lobby restroom. The coffee offered in the lobby was cold. We made it to our room to find the door was literally falling off the hinges. We had to go back to the desk to be moved to another room. Overall there just seems to be a lack of maintenance and attention to detail in the hotel.

The hotel nice. However the air unit in the room was loud and every time it came on it was like a bang on the wall. I didn’t bother asking for another room because we were told since we had booked through hotels.com we couldn’t change the room. Then we were trying to rest and the maid kept coming to the room after 8 in the morning. We were tired after a flight the night before and that was annoying. We knew check out time and this was at least 3 hours before check out.
