The Hampton Inn is located across from the New Orleans Convention Center. Check-in was quick and efficient. The room was comfortable, the AC/heat worked perfectly, and the beds were comfortable, too. The continental breakfast offering was the best one I've had. The crowd was large, but the staff ensured the food offerings were available. The only item I missed during my review and booking was the required $45 daily parking. The valet staff was friendly and accommodating. This property is about 1 mile from the French Quarter.

Started out rough with my first room not having hot water for a sufficient shower. But ray and the GM made my last day far more comfortable. Although the house keeper blatantly ignore do not disturb signs. Happened twice in two different rooms. The second time i thought she was trying to rob me as she was empty handed, no cart, and she immediately looked guilty and walked away from door when i stepped off the elevator. I heard the door lock so i know she either went in or was about to. Super shady. The first time woke me up from a nap which really irritated me. Someone opening my door as i sleep.

Checking in and rooms were a horrible experience!
Reserved two rooms. Everything we asked about the hotel and parking was stated by Margo, who checked us in. Walked into room one, bathroom floor was flooded into the walk in from hall door area. Sent group to room two to go get another room to replace room one. No we are sorry for the inconvenience, nothing. Get up to room all are waiting in to split back to two rooms, and the second room from insert toilet would not flush. Moved all to new room one. Back to long line to get another room to replace room two. Again no we are sorry for inconvenience no nothing but another room door pass. In parking, only valet, asked several questions about how that works at check in. None of those answers were accurate and found that out all thru parking attendant. About to check out now and get my car with hopefully no more issues than I’ve already experienced. Hotel severely understaffed and Margo at check in desk had very poor understanding of the details of the hotel.
