We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. It was quite close to our cruise ship so very convenient for us. The Starbucks staff were excellent! Very friendly.

For it being a Hilton the room decor was very dated and the staff in gift shop and bell desk were very unfriendly and never a thank you for anything. We waited 45 mins for a cart to leave and take luggage to be held till our flight. I went asked at Bell desk she said they are dealing with other customers and tried throwing blame on us canceling on phone because after 45 mins we brought our own luggage down! Also very unprofessional to always say dealing with other customers. What are we?? Is not our money equal and we paid alot! Also had hammering pounding at 7 am and all day. So loud and I asked customer service. They said sorry there is work going on next door and above me. So it was not relaxing at all. The starbucks was swamped for Taylor Swift in town which they should plan ahead order alot supplies and schedule extra workers. Lines so long and ran out of things.

Great hotel!
All the staff members made my sister and I feel so welcome and cared for. The location of the hotel was also perfect. We were close to everything without having to be in the 'middle' of it all. The hotel was very clean and we had access to pretty much everything you would need (food, drinks, etc.)

The room was clean and comfortable. However the bathroom was terrible. The tile had black mold throughout and the door to enter was about have an inch away from the toilet when the foor was open. Should of had a barn door or a sliding door that went into the wall due to the lake of space since the bathroom was so small.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, while it is a nice and comfortable place, I found it to be overpriced for the quality of the property itself. The amenities and overall experience do not justify the high rates. With a more reasonable price, it would be a much better option.
