This is a no go. I went and should not have.
This place is nearly vacant. I think there were three other cars in the gated parking lot. The code did not work to the gate when I got there. This is not an are of town where you want to be standing on the street trying to get a code to work. The nightly rate was a teaser. After fees it doubled. I was seeing friends in biwater so I thought this would be convenient and I would walk to their house 1/2 mile away. But you would not want to be walking in this area at night so I drove to the friend’s house. The room was spartan. Almost like being in a medical waiting room. Nothing on walls which are gray. Thermostat was locked at 68. Coffee in room was poor. You will do better staying in the central business district or quarter and using an Uber. I’ve stayed in hotels in NOLA for 30 years. This is at the bottom of the pile.

The first night I got to the property it was late night my room was not clean had no tower or face clothes to shower.The next morning I went to front desk and told her the situation of the room she jumped on the phone with the owner.They moved to another room and said they was gone give me 50 credit I never received, but the other room was very clean and nice and I enjoy the rest of my stay would definitely stay again..when booking this place make sure to pay for parking in put you in side a gated area which is more safer for your vehicle well worth it..

The customer service staff were very friendly and helpful. There may be some miscommunication between Hosteeva and the actual hotel, so be wary if you get a different room than you were expecting. The room I originally reserved became out of order, so then they gave me 2 rooms before I even arrived, (with no charge thankfully). Hosteeva does not mention that parking is not included in the reservation, and is an additional $60 per car. Between the 2 rooms, one smelled of smoke and another had a light fixture fall out. The cleanliness was good, just seemed like poor maintenance. Also the code to get into our rooms were wrong, so prepare to go back to the customer service desk for another code if the one emailed to you from Hosteeva is wrong.

This property was nice and worth the cost, but the neighborhood is fairly unsafe -- we were here on Taylor Swift weekend, so I think we probably had a less scary stay here than it would have been on a different weekend with less guests. Easy and cheap uber to the french quarter and a fair amount of restaurants/coffee shops nearby. It also did not have the same amenities provided as there would be if you stayed at a bigger name hotel. There was no offer of housekeeping/turnover each day, there were no bags in the trash cans, and no plunger in the bathroom. We also got no check out instructions and had to leave at 4am so kind of just... left. I tried to call the next day and nobody answered. The vibes were a little eerie in the halls and the rooms but they were clean and nice. When requested, housekeeping was helpful in providing extra towels/blankets/etc.Overall I would give our stay 2.5/5 stars.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were clean and we liked how each room had its own bathroom. The only issue we had was trying to find the correct building we were supposed to be in and there isn’t a full time front desk attendant to ask.

Staff was friendly, however, room was dirty, with dirty clothes left in the washer, the suit had no clean towels in the room, floor was dirty and unswept behind the couch. front desk had limited hours, neighbourhood is unsafe, and limited parking is available. Higher standards for cleanliness are needed, but if this property were run well, it could be a gem

I liked how modern it was. I didn’t realize how much appliances come in handy when you’re traveling. I also liked how close it was to a bus stop and downtown New Orleans. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. I also felt completely safe in the hotel which is important to me as a solo female traveler.

Everything about the place was just great. We had a two bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a full sized kitchen including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The property is a one minute walk from the bus stop and the public transport is excellent. We downloaded the Le Pass app and bought a weekly ticket for $15 each - that lets you ride as many buses, streetcars or ferries as you want and the app gives you all the info you need to get around. One of the best things about Holy Angels (and there’s lots) is the pool and hot tub….just bliss. To top it all was the staff who were always so friendly and helpful….thank you Brittany and Scotty, we had a brilliant holiday.
