NYE stay.
Stayed here during NYE. We were warmly welcomed. Rooms were nice. They were extra helpful, especially after the incident on Boutbon street. They also helped us extend our stay when the Sugar Bowl was pushed an extra day. Very well located to go down to Bourbon street and also to step away and go home.

Eric from the front desk was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and quiet. They were supposedly updated but the carpet looked like it was old and could use a through cleaning and closets should have been painted.

We stayed for three nights over New Years, 2025. We were in the hotel when the tragedy occured on Bourbon street. Hotel workers seemed uninformed about what was going on and were unable to add any input on how to traverse the city. The hotel was nice, 2 of the three rooms we had were very nice. One room was on the inside with no windows, which I felt was odd. One room overlooked Canal Street, street noise was an issue, but understandable with the goings on. Furnishings were nice, however, hallway carpets seemed dirty.

Overall, our stay was fine. Only main issue, which has been shared in other reviews, noise level on the street late into the night, continuing into early morning, is unbearable. Hotel should consider installing soundproof glass similar to hotels near airports. Other than that, the hotel is centralized, with access to dining, shopping, and entertainment.

Overall a decent hotel. My room could of been cleaner (carpet should of been vacuum better) also, someone left their glasses on the floor in an open place beside the bed. I feel that housekeeping should have seen it if he/she was thoroughly cleaning the room.
