I recently took an impromptu trip over the holiday weekend and decided I’d stay here. Upon arrival, I could tell from the parking lot how large of a mistake I had made. The lobby itself was dirty and poorly maintained but I still had hope for the room. I check in, get my room keys and trek over to where I’ll be staying. The exterior hallways were littered with trash, the sidewalks were cracked BUT the pool was lively - so again I hold out hope for the room itself. When I tell you that the room was comically in disrepair, it doesn’t begin to paint the proper picture. When I opened the door, roaches scurried across the floor and under the carpet. ALL of the light fixtures had been ripped out of the wall. There was an unusual ‘office chair’ by one of the beds, that was covered in who knows what. The carpet was FILTHY, and the bathroom tub appeared to be splattered with feces. It all felt like I had stumbled into a prank show and I was being setup. The BEST part was that housekeeping was ‘cleaning’ the rooms next to mine. No idea what they were doing, or what ‘standard’ the facility is being held to.

RUNNNNNN, DON'T STAY‼️

Monica and the other front desk clerk was very nice. I arrived checked-in and told my boyfriend to get our luggage. About three minutes laters the front desk clerk called me and stated that the room she had given me someone was already staying in there. I went and got another set of keys went into the put our luggage down and went downtown to enjoy the Essence Festival. We got back to the room. It was stinking, and not clean. The bathroom had less than a half of roll of toilet paper. I sprayed everything down with lysol and wipes. I reported it to the front desk. Day two our room still did not get clean. I went to the front desk and ask for toilet paper. The pictures when booking are very deceiving. Management stayed on their personal phone everytime you saw them.

Don't waste time and money

I asked for 1st floor and got 2nd floor the room was horrible so I went back to front desk then I was given a 1st floor room. The 1st floor room was even worse with bugs in tub and on bathroom floor. I back to front desk and was given another 2nd floor room. I had to go back and get clean sheets and blankets after returning from the store from getting Lysol and Cleaning supplies and I cleaned my own room. I went to get food from a restaurant which is located walking distance in front hotel. Upon returning my suitcase was dug in. 2am we was awaken by security kicking the door trying to make entry. I was scared and nervous. My fiance opened the door and it was security telling us we need to leave room because we don't belong in that room and he proceeded to say he entered our room when we wasn't there and left our door open (wide). I could not go back to sleep the rest of the night. Then 3am I get a phone call from front desk saying I need to switch back the first original room because the lady at front desk didn't put it in system. 9am Saturday morning housekeeping came in my room while I was changing and he didn't knock and couldn't speak fluent English. I had to go. It was horrible horrible horrible
