Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great - close enough to the Quarter to easily walk to all the things but just on the edge enough to be relatively quiet.

Pros: great location, walkable everywhere. Quaint older hotel in French Quarter. Front desk very helpful. Con’s: rooms a bit small ( will upgrade to a suite the next time), a bit noisy, can here through walls and action in the street, no bar ( they are trying to reup their liquor license.

History is here

Staff was friendly and the room was large enough. The lobby and hallways were hot. The room was chilly. In all fairness, we came just recovering from the snowstorm. The hallways were not well lit and a bit spooky! A nice historical hotel.

It felt very old-fashioned (like I was living in the early 1900s, which is a great thing). Wooden floors were very clean and the balcony view was nice! I did not like the fact that there was no cable tv service, presumably because it was limited on which room I booked. Nonetheless, it was a good experience.

I had to change 2 rooms in 2 days because they were dirty and even the room where I ended up staying was dirty. No one never cleaned it, there was still pee on the toilet seat from the customer previous my arrive!!!!

Great location away from the noisy parts of the French Quarter and close to Frenchman Street. This is an old building so street noise can be an issue, but overall we enjoyed our stay there.

Weekend Getaway

This hotel is in a great location and had gated in and out self parking($45/day). They don't have a liquor license, yet, so we didn't get to enjoy the bar and it was a bit chilly to use the pool. Our room was spacious, great shower, and the bed was comfy. We will definitely come back.

The hotel itself had a nice ambience but every night guests from a few doors down were shouting in a drunken rage. The last night there was loud stomping from the floor above from hours on end.

Beautiful entryway and wonderful staff. The rooms were nice but not as up to date as expected for a recent renovation. Having a fitness room would be a wonderful addition.
