We had the loveliest stay there with our senior dog. It is a beautiful hotel, right in the heart of the city. The staff was wonderful, location was convenient, definitely will stay there again!

Beautiful hotel -- buyer beware.
This is a lovely hotel -- just far enough from the noise of the French Quarter to feel safe and get a good night's sleep. I was disappointed in Loews because for three reasons: they charged a $50 resort fee which seemed like a bit of a trick. If they would just publish their full rate, I think that would be more transparent and honest. Second, they pushed out an uber voucher as a sort of gift. When I went to use it, I got a message that the provider had withdrawn the voucher. Not sure what's up with that. Finally, I was offerred a $21 credit per stay for things purchased on their property. I checked out, and had to go back to the clerk to get the credit applied. They were perfectly happy to leave it off and let me leave with a bill that wasn't what they promised. That said, the property is beautiful, clean, and staff are friendly and helpful -- thus the 5 star rating.

They didn’t give me the room I booked. I specifically got the room type and paid extra so we could have bigger space and a bathtub for my daughter. The staff ignored my request.
