I’m honestly surprised to see positive comments about the staff’s friendliness, as that wasn’t my experience at all. When I checked in on October 28, there was an amazing woman at the front desk who made us feel welcome, but that was the only positive interaction. Every other staff member we dealt with seemed to have a poor attitude, and my friends and I felt they were dismissive and unhelpful. Throughout the week, I had some simple questions but received dry, unwelcoming responses. The biggest issue, however, was housekeeping. For the last two days of our stay, our room wasn’t cleaned. On the first of those days, after multiple requests, we finally asked just for fresh towels since there weren’t enough racks to hang towels for three people. Unfortunately, housekeeping didn’t come back with towels until we pushed further the next day. Despite assurances from someone claiming to be the housekeeping manager that our room would be cleaned by 5 p.m., we returned to find it untouched and no trash removed. When I raised these concerns with the front desk, I was told there was nothing they could do. They even refused to take out the bags of trash piling up in our room and suggested we talk to someone the next day – knowing we had an early checkout. There was no attempt to offer any real solution, which left us feeling unheard and dismissed. I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review like this before, but the way we were treated was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend here.

Booked this property last minute for a Taylor swift concert. We did have to wait about 10 minutes for them to finish cleaning our room, but it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. I’m really picky about hotels and I had 0 complaints. Smelled clean and we slept like babies.

The property was quaint and exactly what I wanted for my first stay in New Orleans. The courtyards are pretty and the staff was incredible. Everyone was so polite and friendly. We stayed on a very busy weekend and we were pleased to find the overflow parking was secured at night with quick service to let us in and out. I've seen mixed reviews about the cats in the courtyards but to us they were a bonus. They keep to themselves but add to the charm. The property is old but it adds to the charm and it was clean. The street car stops right out front to take you to the French Quarter and the hotel is walking distance to Magazine Street and several notable Garden District mansions.

Our room was not ready at 4 - we had a concert and had to get ready in the bathroom of the lobby, which by the way did not have a plug. We had to sit on the floor of the lobby and use phones for mirrors to do hair.

When I got to the property they said my reservation had been canceled because my credit card did not work. They said they tried to contact me but I NEVER received a phone call or was left a message. When I asked what number they called the manager said they “don’t have the logistics of that.” When I asked when they tried my credit card she said she couldn’t find that information either. They were fully booked and I had to find another one place.

From the true historical southern charm to the cleanliness of the property, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Shortly after we checked in and got in the room, our A/C unit went out. Called the front desk and in 60 seconds a tech was at the door to look at it. The unit was done for and they had a new one installed in cooling our room in less than 15 minutes from the time I called. Thanks Dennis and Melvin! Loved the fact that it was easily walkable to the SuperDome as well as the French Quarter.

Didn’t even get to stay there and they wouldn’t give a refund. They didn’t have my room ready until after 5:30pm and were very rude. They won’t refund my money and neither would Hotels.com. Very poor customer service all the way around. Very disappointed!

We had an amazing time when we stayed there! The balcony was such a fantastic added perk and the service was fantastic !! We loved the pool as well, it was great to end a day there! The lights made the ambiance so great. Jesse, the night clerk was so enjoyable to talk to and deal with. Would absolutely recommend staying here

From a distance the room seemed immaculate with fresh pressed sheets. Unfortunately there was a large urine stain on the comforter covered by a top sheet among other sheet stains. It was clear that they had been laundered so we didn’t complain but that detail definitely was noticed. The bathroom area is also in need of updating as the shower sprays in all directions with poor water pressure. The pool was nice and they were able to turn hot tub heater on upon request

Most of the staff was nice. Kitchen staff kinda rude. The room was well kept and clean. The door however did not lock, something was wrong with it. And the shower did not have a door, something weird about that. The parking was good and the area was good because it was right on St Charles Avenue. And it was very close to the WW2 museum.
