Staying at the locally owned motel in my hometown was a delightful experience. The organic soaps and shampoo were my favorite and the waterfront views were stunning. The presence of real slot machines next door and the availability of non-ethanol gas and Celsius energy drinks at the nearby gas station were unexpected bonuses. The motel's proximity to Chalmette Battlefield, Sidney Torres Park, 40 Arpent Wetlands Observatory was convenient, and spotting an alligator swimming behind the property was a memorable highlight. The area felt very private and safe, enhancing the overall stay. A restaurant on the property would be nice especially one that served organic and vegan food.

it’s a motel not a hotel
This is a roadside motel, not a hotel. Should be priced at $70/night tops considering the location, condition, and the fact that’s it’s a motel not a hotel. Our room smelled like baked in cigarettes. Very disappointed for the price.

There is s fishing dock and people were catching fish all day and night. It was quier and safe. Not much traffic. Pool was awesome too

The property is outdated, my wife and I stayed for two nights and they didn't clean the room while we were away. The sheets smelled like old linen. Definitely not a place to stay long. A quick stay for an ok price is what you get.

That staff was friendly, but as far as the stay was terrible they had bugs all in the room. Everywhere I looked there was a bug. Bug in the sink, the tub, on the tv, and on the chair. I would not recommend staying here again.
