Located just steps from the Quarter but far enough away that you don't deal with the crazy late night of the quarter; but located on Canal where it can just as crazy as the quarter. Busy weekend in NOLA (Bayou Classic) for our visit, the lobby was crowded and the music was WAY TOO loud in the open lobby bar on Friday. It was hard to hear anything the front desk told you when checking in. Other than that I would still recommend this location

Check in and check out was smooth. The cleanliness of the facility was the main issue. Housekeeping is not automatic you have to request it. The towels for the bathroom where not properly cleaned and still damp. There was blood on the floor and on the keypad for the elevator. It was never cleaned. We were there for 3 nights. Lastly you have to go to the lobby if you need to reheat any leftovers. No microwaves in the room or in a common area on the floor you are on.

Housekeeping didn’t clean the room, I lost money in the vending machine and wasn’t reimbursed. The food I purchased in the Burger Place next to the hotel was cooked in old grease and it made me sick. I feel like my money was wasted.
