We stayed at this location years ago and stayed again when trying to find somewhere affordable the weekend of Taylor Swift. If you go in with realistic expectations you’ll be happy. It’s nothing fancy, but was a very very affordable, safe, mostly clean (floors could’ve used a sweep/swiffering) option for an otherwise expensive weekend. I would stay again if/when I came back to Slidell!

Dirty Bathroom
The room was olay overall, but the bathroom was not serviced properly. I had to clean it up myself. It looked like someone came through and just simply wiped the majority of the bathroom down to make it look presentable and that was it. I have clorox wipes with me when i go stay places and i had to use a lof of them on the bathroom..

The property was tidy and the room was clean. The room and bathroom were very small and there was no vanity area, only the small sink in the bathroom, which made getting ready for the concert very challenging. The only walking spaces in the room were very narrow strips between the beds and at the foot.

I understand i got our room at a great rate however i saw what they were charging guests who booked directly through the motel and it was outrageous. Our room had mold, the shower leaked water all over the floor, the rooms were musty, they charged for common toiletries that most hotels and motels dont charge for. They housekeepers did a great job with what they had to work with and were very friendly however its very clear that they aren't using the profits of the motel for improvements. Thank god we only paid $70 because I would have not stayed there otherwise.

When I first arrived to the property I did not fully inspect the room due to immediately needing to be at event that did not allow me to arrive until after 1am. After trying to get settled and shower it was noticed that hair was all on the shower wall. We called the front desk to request a resolution and also to have a manager call us back. The manager never did call and every time we called to speak with a manager we were told that they are not in yet. Would get a round about time they would be in and when we called we still got a run around. We asked that to be refunded a least a night of the stay and the staff was unwilling to assist and was also very rude and short with us over the phone. Also, the lock on the door did not seem very secure. A screw kept getting loose which did not feel safe.

I will never stay here again. The room was not cleaned, there was trash on the floor, things left by previous occupants, mold in the shower. There were no amenities like extra blankets, shampoo, extra toilet paper. The WiFi and TV did not work. And to top it all off the door lock wasn’t even fully attached.

Big weekend in the area, the rooms were not ready yet. They did not plan for the big turn around. Nothing on the amenities states no fridge or microwave in room. No where to hang clothes closet area was removed. Staff was friendly. Room was convenient to where we were.

The bathroom of the particular room I had was in bad condition— the shower floor was dirty, the floorboards were peeling off the wall and rather icky, there were plenty of cobwebs and a spider chilling in the top corner by the sink. The floor all over was kind of dirty and my friend's bed in the same room clearly hadn't been changed out with new/clean bedding because there was a coin in the sheets and a stain on one side. The second night, the bathroom smelled outright bad (not normal bathroom bad, but like a wet dog) and was extremely humid and warm despite the shower not having been ran, which makes me wonder about the ventilation and plumbing. However, on the other side, the staff was incredibly sweet, and the 24-hour desk was very helpful!! Overall, the cleanliness issues mean this location definitely wouldn't be my first choice, but, for the price, it could be far worse? If I ever need another last-minute room, though, it works out!
