Place d’Armes had an amazing staff who went above and beyond for my wife and I. We arrived to find that our hotel room was on the first floor, and the front desk was able to rebook our room to a second-floor location for a lower rate! We had to leave early due to an unforeseen emergency, and the staff refunded all of our nights even though it was after checkout. Another staff member helped call a taxi to bring us to the airport. The only downside of our stay was that none of the rooms had windows.

The property is beautiful. Staff is very helpful. Room was great and comfortable. The outdoor courtyards were beautiful and clean. Andrew the doorman was very helpful in getting us transportation when needed. The front desk staff was always warm and welcoming. Pool doesn’t seem to be heated. We loved our stay.

Wasn’t able to go and lost all my money. My youngest daughter got sick and couldn’t make it there. I called and they said it was non refundable I told them I don’t need my money back I just want a credit so I can go after my daughter gets better. They said ok but when the lady called me she wanted me to give her dates right away I have no clue when can I go because my girl is still hospitalized and I would have to request time from work . She couldn’t give me some time to planned it.

My bestie and I loved the staff, location, and overall ambiance if this hotel. Located steps away from Jackson Square, it was close to restaurants, shopping, and a streetcar stop. We loved the courtyards/pool area. It was the perfect place to chill after a hot day in the French Quarter. I would've given five stars except for the fact that the room with two queen beds was switched out to a junior suite. This upgrade spunded great at first, but it had one king bed and a sofa bed. This change was a little disappointing, but we still would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great little hotel for three women visiting New Orleans for a few days. Right in the heart of the French quarter. Walking distance to most things. Would recommend and would stay again. Just a heads up, the hotel is quite haunted. There were 5 of us total between two rooms and we all experienced something unexplainable. We had no prior knowledge the hotel was haunted before hand so this was a fun experience and a great story to tell back home.

The courtyard was stunning!! I was disappointed that the site I booked from showed laundry facilities but there wasn’t any. Besides that I loved everything about my stay!

Nice hotel with character. Wanted something different than a standard chain hotel while experiencing New Orleans. Was a beautiful property with a pool and courtyard to sit. We enjoyed the pool one night but FYI it isn’t heated. Would be great on a hot day. Overall the room seemed cleaned, but just the basics. Don’t touch the walls, clearly the bathroom walls are never wiped down. There was definately excrement and stains from previous guests on them.. the staff was friendly and helpful.

Fantastic location, wonderful staff, clean and comfortable. Close enough to everything to walk or use the streetcars, far enough away from Bourbon St to be quiet. Had the first floor room near the elevator so we heard people coming in being loud, but that is not a reflection on the hotel. Would absolutely stay there again.
