Sweet stay in the French Quarter!

Prince Conti is an adorable and comfortable hotel in the French Quarter—close to everything, but quiet enough to sleep well at night. I had the option of staying here or at a large chain hotel for a conference. This was absolutely the best choice. The hotel was very clean with lovely decor and super friendly and helpful staff. We also loved Cafe Conti. My tween/teen daughters and I felt totally at home here—highly recommended!

pros and cons at French Quarter hotel

Nicely decorated room in French Quarter hotel which had character. Conveniently located. Water in bathroom sink was only a trickle and it did not get warm. A drinking water station somewhere in the hotel would have been nice.

Had a great stay. I was nervous about being close to bourbon street but did not hear anything from the room. Prince Conti was walking distance to all we wanted to see in the French quarter. The employees and concierge were a lot of help. Very nice employees. Will definitely come back and stay again.

Literally every staff member we came in contact with at the Prince Conti was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They are a great group of people. The hotel itself has a lot of historic character; we had a very pretty room and it was very clean. The location is amazing - it’s a block from Bourbon St but we never heard any noise once we entered the hotel. It’s super convenient to all the French Quarter has to offer, as well as other parts of the city. We were able to walk to everything we did within the city. If we are ever back in New Orleans we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A great French Quarter hotel!

The Prince Conti Hotel is 1/2 block from Bourbon Street in the French Quarter. It is surrounded by restaurants, bars, and nightspots of all sorts. Even so, it is amazingly quiet inside the hotel. All of the staff, especially Kanny and Ashley, are extremely friendly and professional, and they go out of their way to help you. If you go, make sure you try the Cafe Conti - it was amazing! We would definitely stay there again!

The staff made this hotel a pleasure. The noise was expected as we were very close to all the Bourbon St activity. The little restaurant opposite the lobby entrance was great. The bar in the hotel had nightly music and the food looked good but we didn’t eat there. Would recommend this hotel

Overall we enjoyed our stay here, but there were also a few issues. Hotel front desk staff were all amazingly helpful and super friendly! The Conti Cafe on site was so delicious and staff/service were great! Location was really great and allowed us the ability to explore the quarter and unlimited people watching on Bourbon Street! However, upon arrival there was an issue with our reservation and the person at the front desk had to call the manager, who wasn’t on site. We also booked a deluxe double and our room felt quite cramped. The carpet in the room clearly gets vacuumed, but needs deep shampooing. We were walking around the room in socks and they are all now stained from the dirt in the carpet. I would probably stay here again just for the location, service, and cafe BUT I would bring a shoe or slipper that I don’t mind throwing away at the end of my trip.

The Bathroom needs attention. the shower head was on a setting that could not be changed and the pressure from it was unbearable. the shower door also leaked onto the floor and it has the drywall/wood around floor and up to the bathroom door about to rot. Other than the shower everything else was OK other than the marijuana smells around the elevator
