My family and I stayed 2 nights at Rathbone Mansions we really enjoyed our stay! The room was perfect my youngest son is 10 he loved the pool and getting to swim at night. The lady that checked us in was super sweet and even recommend some places to eat within walking distance. I highly recommend if I’m ever this way again I’ll definitely be back!

Enjoyable stay

We took this trip as a family. This motel was affordable for us. Its ran by American people. Its clean and for the most part pretty quiet. I felt safe here. The pool and hot tub were nice. If we needed anything the front desk was on it and got it to us in a timely manner. This is an old hoise built in the 1850's. Don't expect like a Holiday Inn. I really got the Lousiana feel staying here. Our room had a pull out couch, 2 beds, table, fridge, plates, bowls, silverware, microwave. Food gets pricey in New Orleans. So having that space came in handy.

We had a suite and there was plenty of room. We enjoyed the sitting area. The pool and hot tub area were very nice. The check in staff was so friendly. We loved it was historical. Be aware it is historical and although there have been upgrades, it is an older home. Overall it was great and we would return.

Charming Hotel

Charming hotel with modern updates. Our room was clean spacious. Bathroom was updated and clean. The location is great near the Quarter but not in the noisy hustle bustle of the Quarter. Only minor complaint is with the bathroom. Though updated, it lacked space for personal toiletries. A couple of shelves on either side of the mirror to keep you stuff on and dry. The other is more towels. Two bath, two face and one hand towel is not enough. Not picking, but everything else was great. Look forward to staying here again.
