Solid Extended Stay
Good enough value. It is an extended stay, so a lower level of service, but that was to be expected at this price point. Good location between French Quarter and Stadium.

Staff aside from the valet was rude and unaccomidating. We found a chicken bone under the couch. There were no linens for the sofa bed. When we asked for them they made us come down to get them and then did not provide us with any pillows. The breakfast was okay but the coffee was full of grounds. There were stains all over the room, some which we questioned were blood. Someone smoked pipe tobacco the entire time we were there and it smelled so bad. The area around the hotel was extremely unsafe and the parking garage was completely inaccessible.

The hotel is in a great location. It is around the corner from Canal St., street car stops, walking distance to Bourbon St., and 2 doors down from a pick up spot for several tour companies. It is downtown so you will hear some street noise but nothing we found unbearable. Breakfast was ok, the staff couldn't have been more friendly, and the room was great. I will stay here again if I'm ever back in New Orleans.

Saints vs Eagles 9/22/24
Great non-continental breakfast; Previous leak from room above caused saturation in my closet tiles. Tiles collapsed. Maintenance was in my room within minutes to take care of the problem. Room had a skunky/marijuana smell each time I opened the door. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe walking to the football stadium. It was a very short walk.

Loved the staff, so friendly and helpful with everything, they get a A . Really quiet hotel and good, large rooms with full kitchen available if needed. Elevators were a little hit or miss in terms of reading room keycards but that did improve over the course of the stay. Breakfasts good and hot. Bus stop right outside and streetcars too to anywhere, super easy to take transit or walk if you're the active type. Would stay here again.
