The room and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. The restaurant bar staff were great. The only real complaint is the mandatory amenity fee, even if not used. Other than that, fantastic stay.

The staff that help us in Callie to us twice , he was not professional, he said we wouldn’t get the full refund back , then lie saying we can check out late but he was lying so we can pay that extra 50 bucks. Hire new staff ! Also the manage was not nice

Great location. Accommodating, but tepid staff … would not describe anyone I interacted with at any hour as “warm or friendly” but they were accommodating to late checkout or early check in requests and a noise complaint. The granola in their yogurt is unforgettable and kind of life changing. The cafe closes every day at 11 which is really lame. The $22 fee added to your bill every day is supposed to include bikes… they own only two, one of which was broken. I thought it was kind of hilarious they only had two bikes for an entire hotel. I’d stay here again if I had to! It wasn’t terrible. I just wasn’t impressed? The bathroom floor had cracks in it but the shower was nice.

I liked the ambiance of an older hotel. The brick walls, decorative wood and retro furniture. I didn't expect the wood floors to be so noisy but understand this comes with an older building. Check in time to my room was longer than expected. Manager provided comparable service recovery with coffee tokens to the cafe & waived some of the amenity fees.

Solo female travelers book elsewhere. They invested all their money into the lobby. Anything below a premium room does not have a window with any kind of view, even though the photos show they do. The halls are creepy and the “porthole” window is terrifying and not clean. It looks like a death chamber. The room is unfinished, looks cool in photos but not in person. There is no soundproofing, you can hear everything in the halls and sounds coming from the death chamber from your neighbors and nearby parking structure. They don’t use fitted sheets and the sheets they use are too small to stay tucked so you will wake up on the mattress. I requested room support and they pretty much said it wasn’t possible except they could bring me extra sheets. One of the sheets they brought had a black substance on it (possibly mold) and what appears to be dried blood. They said they provided water for guests. I was there Tuesday-Saturday and they didn’t have any until Saturday. They said they provide wellness bags to exercise in your room, they didn’t have any available my entire stay. They provide a blow dryer, but you can’t use it in front of the mirror with how short the cord is compared to the outlet. Maybe the premium room had a robe, my upgraded room did not. Forget about using the tv. Save your money and stay elsewhere. Have more but hit my word count. Pros: They removed the alcohol from my room as requested. The barista was nice as well as one of the women at the front desk.

This is a quaint hotel with so much charm! Stayed here prior to a cruise. Close c to French Quarter so easy for walking and getting the trolleys.
