The outside didn't look like much and we were worried about parking but I called and was met with a "just park where you can and we have valet that will park for you". Now you pay per night to park (like $37 or $38 I believe but that's everywhere). The staff (everyone) was amazing and the hotel inside was historic and absolutely beautiful. I actually think the hotel was our favorite part of our time in NOLA. Staff give recommendations on places to eat. I wish I could remember names but it doesn't really matter because from check in to valet to check out they were all so helpful and nice and made our stay so much better than any chain hotel could have. If ever back in NOLA, this is where we will stay.

One of, if not the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. My 5th time to the French quarter and this is my new spot! Great staff cool historic building with unmeasurable character.

We stayed in the Creole Cottage, which has a small kitchen. Very historic house hotel. It was charming, and I believe they are working on some improvements, but it is a Historic landmark. They have 3 cats that live in the lobby area, very sweet kitties. I would definitely stay here again! The hotel has valet parking (for a fee), which is priced well considering parking in New Orleans is pricy. The staff always had our car out and ready when we needed it. The courtyard is tropical and beautiful. The pool looked inviting, but we didn't have time to take a dip. Highly recommend staying here!! I think the only thing was the bed, it was too hard, even for my husband, but we were so tired after exploring, we crashed out quickly.

Absolutely amazing. Perfect New Orleans aesthetic. Awesome pool. The rooms are so comfy and so so cute. The balcony’s are shared which was fine but the cats and coffee / espresso station made the trip extra special! Will no doubt be back here next year!!

This is an old mansion with lots of little courtyards and fountains inside. Really helps with maintaining the NOLA vibe . There are plenty of corporate hotels around but so few places like this left.

The staff was very friendly. This is a 200 year old property so the rooms were as expected. However the furniture and bedding and curtains were thread bare. It was difficult to get to the room. Some steps with no railing. Not thrilled to see cats in the entrance due to allergies. There was no place to hang wet towels in the bathroom. A few hooks would be appreciated.

I am hesitant to leave this review because I feel like I found a gem and I want to be selfish and keep it all to myself. I cannot explain how beautiful this property is. And pictures just don’t do it justice. The staff was so amazing and helpful. Especially the guy that works at night. I can’t remember his name because well, “New Orleans”. But they took great care of my husband and I. The pool was beautiful and clean, and the breakfast bar was always stocked. The decor made me feel at home and it was super convenient to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Look up the history of this beautiful home. I’ll definitely be back.

Excellent hotel option in the French Quarter. Right off of Bourbon Street but quiet at night. The rooms have an awesome French Quarter flare and the pool in the courtyard is refreshing. The staff is amazing and available to help when needed. There is always coffee, water and snacks to grab before enjoying your time in New Orleans. Highly recommend staying here.

This is one half block off Bourbon Street, so there are a lot of things that come with that. Room was really clean and quiet from the inside, my room had a balcony facing the street (which I asked for) so there was some noise from that, however, we did sleep well. Only real complaint, receptionist did not greet, she stayed on her phone as we passed her in the main lobby. The males who serviced the desk were great.

Eclectic and romantic.

This is where you stay if you’re craving a unique, eclectic, true New Orleans vibe in the heart of the French Quarter. This is not where you stay if you prefer a bright white sterile five star type hotel experience. This place is a nitty gritty funky spectacle. The staff are all friendly, including the cats. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which we loved. We asked for a tour of the casa xtiques rooms which were in a house right across the street and were all spectacular! Overall a quirky and magical place. Will stay again.
