The surrounding areas of the property is not the responsibility of hotel. The service was great, staff was warm, attentive and offered solutions to any minor issue. Assisted with keeping our luggae before we could checkin, assisted in getting trasnportation to airport. Always smiling and actively listening. Still awaiting my emailed bill. Thank you

We stayed at the royal sonesta new orleans for our anniversary which happens to be near Halloween. There was a swifty concert going on when we got into town which made getting to the hotel with our rental car difficult. I wish o would've read the directions that were sent to us by the hotel prior to getting into town because we drove around for a couple of hours trying to figure out how to get into the parking garage. PSA - ask the officer to move the baracade if you ever have to deal with the area being blocked off. That being said, this hotel is in the middle of everything which is awesome for walking to anything you want to see or eat. We walked to all of our tours and museums, bars and restaurants. We ended up not needing our rental car. And, inside the hotel its very quiet even tho its in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Theres also a courtyard in the middle. Its completely quiet and calm when you need to get away. We slept in every morning. It was so nice. The only negative was, the coffee at PJs downstairs was ick. Theres much bettee coffee in the neighborhood. Take a short walk and enjoy the local coffee.

1st time to NOLA
The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is that it is in the middle of everything. It also has everything you need. Without leaving the hotel you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner and go to a jazz bar, get a massage, and more. The dinner restaurant, Revolutions, was the best restaurant I have ever been to. It's expensive but worth it. I live in NC and I would take a 2 days trip to New Orleans just to have dinner here. The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the tub and shower curtain in my room and the TV. The Tv literally took about 6 second between channel changes and there was no way to connect to your accounts such as Netflix. Anything worth watching was an additional charge. For $1200 a night, I would think a decent shower and TV would be standard. I would definitely stay here again but would request a room with an updated bathroom.

First time in NOLA- great, friendly service. Beignets every day just across from hotel. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious everyday. Everything within walking distance- only used a cab to/from airport. Room was quiet at night even though we overlooked Broadway. Love the courtyard! Great time.

police had parking blocked and yelled at me about coming thru barricade to park. very rude they should have known that we needed to park. a window sign to flash like in a car pool line could be sent to patrons when this occurs

We just returned from our girls trip to see Taylor Swift. I knew this weekend would be a busy one and came fully prepared to be patient and prepared for lines and minor inconveniences. However, I was disappointed that the hotel never received our request for early check in, still charged us 60 dollars, and then called to tell us the room was ready but didn’t bother to leave a message. The next morning at 7 AM (as the mother of two young children I could not wait to sleep in) security was pounding on our door and the front desk was calling us to ask who we were and how we got into the room. This was scary for two females traveling alone. 20 mins later, I received a message from the hotel noting that we had missed our check in the day prior and asking if we were still planning to visit. Also, our room was not serviced for FOUR days. We ran out of clean towels, makeup wipes, shampoo, conditioner, and had full trash bins. After repeatedly asking for service, someone knocked on the door at 4:00 PM on Saturday when we were getting ready for dinner. I think what was most disappointing was that after respectfully voicing our concerns, there was no effort made on staff’s part to remedy any of this or really acknowledge how problematic it was. The hotel was lovely, the interior rooms are so quiet, the beds are comfortable but I would’ve appreciated better customer service.
