An Honest Review
Let me get my complaint out the way first: Valet Parking. Too expensive to be so slow. Moving on. Check in was a breeze, the room was decently cleaned..although I did find a rogue few hairs in the shower and bathroom floor. The water in the shower took a while to get Hot. The bed seemed clean, as did the furnishings and glassware. Overall, I’ll give my stay a solid 7.8 out of 10. It was nice, but definite could have been better. No, I didn’t take photos of the issues. It wasn’t anything I could clean for myself, but it’s a hotel..why should I have to, right?

I wish the reviews would’ve stated how noisy it is from the ships and the trains. I definitely would’ve stayed elsewhere had I known. I normally stay at the Four Seasons but they were booked up tonight. From my experience there, I didn’t know how loud it was staying in this area because their walls are soundproof. We arrived at 3 for check-in, our room wasn’t ready until 5:15. They had our luggage in the wrong room, deactivated our cards. There was hair left in the shower even though we watched housekeeping clean the bathroom. Luckily we travel with cleaning supplies so we handled it. The rooms are a nice size and the river view rooms have great views but I wouldn’t stay here again. The young valet workers are rude! So rude that the older valets had to correct them. One of the valets got an attitude because I didn’t understand what he meant when he said he would be happy in 4 years. I’m not even sure why he felt the need to reference the election. The best part about the Westin is the bar and views. If you’re ok with the noise, book it! If not, keep searching.
