Hotel is great, if they wish to become 5 star they need to clean up their operations. I book 2 rooms in July with only 1 request. The rooms be on the same floor. We were travelling with a young child that needed the support from all people staying (in both rooms). We werent picky regarding the typebof room, or floor level or anything of the sort, just that 2 rooms needed to be on the same floor. As i noted, we book in July... for November. Their is very little chance the entire hotel was booked in July. So why is it when we arrive in November we are told it was just a request and the hotel has had a very busy couple days? Were they surprised by our presence? It was a very small, easily achievable request, and it was simply ignored. Unacceptable if you wish tk consider yourself a 5 star designation. If you are ok with mediocrity, then so be it. But thats a recipe for failure. I recommend you do better. But who am I, I only pay the bill...

Horrible Experience
I just finished staying at the Virgin Hotel in New Orleans. Horrible experience! Here is how it is going: For starters, the clerk misdirected to the wrong room. After 3 attempts with re-doing the key card, an engineer opened the door only to find the room was already occupied! After getting placed in another room, I was promised that someone would follow up. It never happened!! Now, I come back to my room to discover that housekeeping threw my laundry away! I am sorry I am already booked at Virgin for Christmas. I will make sure not to bring any gifts that the hotel could possibly throw away! This is entirely unacceptable!! Worse yet, they don't seem to care and made no attempt to remedy either situation. And entirely engaged over the situation and the lack of empathy. It also defies business sense that you would victimize of your hotel when you consider the economics of this situation. You’d be much wiser to pull 40 friggin dollars out of it till given. I spent $1000 for my three day stay. Trust me I’m spreading the word. I now have to avail myself of my skill set that has involved as a result of being a trial lawyer for 37 years. I guarantee Virgin Hotel NOLA has not heard the last of us.
