Truly a great place to stay. Oscar who worked the reservation desk was absolutely amazing. We stayed three nights and had a fabulous time with my sibling and their spouses. Great service and truly a beautiful place full of history.

The building was very unique but the room was small and the hotel was noisy. Parking was almost nonexistent especially on Saturday night. We never had a parking spot at the hotel for any of the 4 nights we stayed and had to park about 1.5-2 blocks away on Saturday night. The onsite restaurant was pricey so we always ate elsewhere.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Hacienda, located centrally and in a very pretty spot, it made the perfect base for our trip. The Downtown area is vibrant with lots of shops and restaurants meaning that you can park up and walk, although parking space at the hotel is limited, there is a large free public car park right opposite. The hotel itself has been modernized to a very high standard whilst still keeping its character and was exceptionally clean. My only small criticism is that the walls between the bedrooms do not really offer good sound protection, night one 1 was kept awake by the guest next door snoring and night 2 different guests were talking/arguing at 2.00 am which woke me up, its a shame that people tarnished an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

This hotel remains in easy walking distance from my home. Due to hurricane caused damage, we stayed a week while repairs progressed at home. An easy, short walk in time proved to be a trip to anothercentury. Such an elegant place restored to its former glory and a representative of an era long past. Highly recommended.!In the future, we will avail ourselves of weekend packages just to return to a more graceful time.
