Not great… images of the hotel are very misleading. They show a modern high rise building when in fact it is an older low rise. Hotel decor is very old fashioned and poor quality. Low light brightness is trying to hide the issues. First room offered had a VERY noisy a/c unit outside bedroom window that would make sleep impossible. Second room had very little natural daylight. Staff indifferent. Cannot recommend.

The manager and front Desk staff are racist they will held to you and laugh at your face without any reason. I travel every week for work domestically and out of the US and I never felt mistreated like here anywhere. AVOID AT ALL COST THIS HOTEl. WORSE STAFF EVER. I wish I could upload the video of the way they disrespected me and were racist to me!

This hotel had several oddities about it that obviously I didn’t like: first of all none of the rooms had any sort of coffee maker, even the simplest type to boil water, nor could it bring one into the room. The other rather difficult “pill to swallow” at this era of high-tech was having to go without Internet for over 48 hours and in fact that the time that we left the hotel, my wife and I still had no Wi-Fi. I shall explain. The hotel had no Internet from the 10th floor on up to the highest flow which I believe is 15. They couldn’t seem to know what the problem was. The staff member that took our bags on the valet cart up to our room, had no idea that there was any Internet problems as he gave us all the password and everything we needed to connect to it. It was only after find out that the WAP was connecting, but of course, there was no Internet being fed into it, then they admitted there was a problem. Luckily, I happen to have Verizon 5G ultra wide on my iPad Pro M1 iPad Pro so both my wife and I were able to use it and she was able to use it as a hotspot for her data but that’s not really good considering not everyone has unlimited Verizon high-speed data and has the ability to use their digital devices as high-speed hotspots. The management after a slight prodding deducted a total of 64 Dollars off bill Which I doubt they even miss because this is really an EXPEDIA booking fee/charge rather than their own charges. They really could’ve done better

The front desk staff is very rude and dismissive upon arrival. I asked him if someone can come remove all the alcoholic beverages from the minifridge and it took 4 hours for the simple task to be completed. I would've done it myself but was unsure if I would get a penalty. The cleaning staff was very friendly, communicative and alert with my needs. I was there for 7 days and she made sure I was taken care of every day. The room itself was average. Some things were clean and some things weren't (curtains and walls). The outlets were very limited and located in strange places in the room. The water pressure was way too strong but I learned to manage. This was my first time in NYC and I really liked that the metro stop was a few steps away from the hotel. The bagel shop downstairs was a nice touch. I went there twice during my stay. A target was nearby where I picked up last minute essentials. And lastly, Central Park was a short walk away.

The location and staff were incredible BUT everything else was below average. Our room (marketed as “superior”) was incredibly small with no microwave, few places to plug in your electronics and horrible views. Don’t let the pictures fool you, your room wont likely have a view of Central Park. When I got there the staff told me that all standard and superior rooms face the back of the hotel, but based on what i observed I don’t see how any room except MAYBE the penthouse has a view of Central Park. With that said, if you’re not looking to be in the hotel much, the proximity to Central Park, dining, museums, and subway station is great.
