Very modern! Took a sec to figure out that the lobby level elevator will take you right to your floor when your key is tapped at the kiosk. No floor keys inside in car. Very cool

If we could, we would rate this hotel a zero. We switched rooms twice due to water leaks and power issues. The room had rust on the carpet, and the shower leaked all over the floor and pit to the carpet. The lights did not work properly and flickered a lot. The outlets and fridge did not work either. The worst part was the housekeeper entering our room despite the "do not disturb" light being on. She refused to leave when we asked her to, asking "when should I come back?" while my husband was naked. The only advantage was that the day time managers were great, except for the night manager, Evan, who tried to prove us wrong and belittle us. He said I argued about facilities during check-in with him, but I'd never seen him before and wasn't there because I was at the ER, Wrong upset guest, Evan. On our last night, we were fed up with no room service and our room had a water leak, soggy walls, and mold just like the last room. The only good thing was the great showers. We'd give them five stars for customer service, but Evan ruined it. The hotel rooms are falling apart, so stay away. In conclusion, they waived our hotel fees and one night stay, which seems totality unreasonable, as we spent almost every night with engineers in the room and switched rooms twice, and our room wasn't cleaned three times. Let's not forget the hotel cleaner entering our room when we were nude. It ruined our family trip and we will never set foot near this hotel again.

Staff was very accommodating, Altair Restaurant within the hotel is a hidden gem, not as close to a subway stop, but very walkable, room was clean and quiet (on 15th floor).

Super clean, new property. Liked how the room key only gives you access to certain floors. Hotel staff is super helpful and friendly. Area is very walkable - in/close to Hells Kitchen. A wonderful cafe steps away where we got our morning bagels and coffee.
