Avoid this place at all cost
Terrible service all around. Rude and unhelpful, frankly dismissive. The rooms were old/dated and dirty. Bathroom had a permanent bad odour from day 1. We got a nice bottle of champagne and the room had no glassware. We asked for it and they refused to bring anything up to the room. We went down to the bar and they also refused giving any glassware saying it was hotel policy. Never seen such a thing at any hotel, especially if I’m paying 500$ a night. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

We were very comfortable, the room temperature was easy to adjust, the hotel lobby had great coffee, pastries & sandwiches, it was nice to receive an invite every evening to their Happy Hour in the ArtHouse Bar. The Subway was easy to get to either uptown or downtown.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at the ArtHouse New York City. The room service was terrible. I found hair on the bedside table and bed when I checked in. I called the room service for help, but no one came to clean it up. I had to do it myself. The room floor was also dirty throughout my six-night stay. On the fifth morning, the water from the taps was brown and dirty. I couldn't shower that morning. The complimentary breakfast was also a major letdown. I only tried it on the first morning. The only options were a single croissant and a weak cup of coffee. I was very unhappy with my entire stay at this hotel. I will never stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone.
