We got two hotel room in Candel Wood . It is 8/10 mins walk to time square, however if you planning to stay less then 7 days no Cleaning service. Only limited water. We were not happy with our stay. Stuff was friendly but rooms were not clean. If possible we would cancel it but it wasn’t. Hope they can improve. Definitely not recommended.

The room and accommodations were decent—no complaints on that front. However, there were two aspects I didn’t appreciate. Despite being on the 9th floor, I was awakened several times by city noise from outside. While the neighborhood is centrally located with convenient access to Times Square and dining options, encountering panhandlers every 50 feet was an unpleasant experience.

Convenient for Times Square
Convenient location near Times Square and not far from the Navy Yards. No servicing of rooms if you stay less than 7 days which is a long time although you could have asked. Free laundry and gym a bonus but housekeeping staff speaking loudly outside the room early every morning disappointing as was the fact the room keys demagnetised daily and we were on the 25th floor and had to go back down every night to get them recut until we realised and had them recut as we came in.

Front desk and check in was easy and smooth. It’s not the newest but you get exactly what you pay for. Clean and tidy. They’re a little slow when requesting extra towels, etc but it all worked out. Most posts complaining about it not being the newest and nicest don’t want to pay for that luxury so just enjoy and appreciate what you paid for and being so close to time square

Although it’s not the fanciest hotel on the outside or inside, when I walked in, the front desk worker was extremely kind. When I was able to check into my room, I was actually blown away! It was so cute and cozy like a studio apartment. There was a medium sized refrigerator, sink, stove, dishwasher, microwave and cabinets. The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The view was even really nice! Looks are deceiving! Definitely check out this hotel! I wish I could have stayed longer.
