My room was quiet, spacious enough for one. There was only one room next to mine (the others were on the other side of the elevator). My room also faced an unused alleyway between buildings, so I didn't get the blaring morning sunlight or street traffic noise. I did not try out the complimentary breakfast or happy hour libations, so can't speak to that. I'd absolutely stay here again.

Great location -- Near Central Park and walkable to theaters. Subway just 2 blocks away to get downtown. Staff is professional and friendly. Perfect room for one or two people. Provided breakfast is a perk, as is wine happy hour each day. I would recommend as well as stay there again.

I'd stay again
This was my first stay at the Carnegie Hotel. It's very modern and the beds and linens were very comfy and soft. Nice bathrobe in the room. Hidden mini fridge with a few bottles of water. We had two king rooms. Rooms are tiny but well-appointed. Nice bathrooms. A good space for someone traveling solo for work with ample desk space. The included breakfast includes drinks, pastry, breads. Fruits, cereals, and hot cheese omelets. The staff was nice. No valet parking. The recommended garage is half a block away with others nearby. It was a little daunting to park if you're not a city person but we got through it. If I were staying longer it looks like there's lots to explore in this neighborhood. Not far from Times Square but far enough so that the ambient city noise wasn't bad.

The hotel is located very close to Central Park South, but fortunately on a less traveled side street. It’s premium location allowed a night of sound sleeping from not hearing the sounds of a busy city.
