The decor was old, but the room was clean and comfortable. I was surprised to find a bathtub instead of a shower in the bathroom. I think my room is typically considered a connecting room. The free breakfast is a nice touch. The coffee machine made a good cappuccino.

The location was very convenient to the subway station and in the heart of the theatre district/Times Square. Elvis was wonderful and got a room quickly after we arrived in the morning and Billy was a great concierge and arranged our taxi to the airport as well for us. Carol helped with breakfast and was helpful - good coffee, juice, assortment of bake goods and yogurt, cereal cups, cheese, and cream cheese were available for guests for breakfast. The room for the 5 of us worked out well (2 full beds/sofa bed) and housekeeping was kind. We would definitely stay here again!

Expedia listed the hotel room as “standard”, and upon arrival, I was told that the proper name was petite, which was more appropriate. The bed was hard, and the hotel room was unclean. I flipped the mattress up, as I always do upon arriving at a new hotel, and found two dried blood spots, and what appeared to be remnants of a bug. Needless to say, I did not stay. Upon trying to get a refund, I was told by the front desk clerk, that he did not blame me for not wanting to stay with my 8 year old child. I tried to call expedia immediately to assist with booking another property, but it was very difficult to navigate. I eventually just booked another hotel- not through Expedia, and was told that they would look at getting me a refund. I was just told that the hotel would not accept it, as they had no evidence of bugs- yet I had provided a photo. Do not stay here.

Pleasant Stay

The room we stayed in was clean, and housekeeping came daily. Check in was pleasant. Door man was very kind and helpful! We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.
