The location to the subway was excellent. It was in a great part of town. The staff and the price was great. The room itself was a bit dirty and with holes in the wall I think from pictures, etc. It made me a bit uncomfortable. I wish they could be patched.

Avoid this place!
Tiny, shabby, overpriced room with no breakfast. In fact they did not have a restaurant at all. I was given a granola bar as the only food offered! I paid over $250/night. Yuk!!!

The hotel was in a perfect location for my visit. It’s a standard lower cost hotel. The facility and rooms were very clean, very helpful staff, and really in a good location in the upper west side. I would go back.

The beds were clean and comfortable. The room itself needs to be remodeled. The bathroom was a mess. The paint was peeling, the shower rod was broken, and the door itself was rotting away. However, the shower pressure was great. The plumbing makes a lot of noise when the hot water is turned on. We paid peak rates and wouldn't stay here again.

Decent and Clean in Upper West Side
We needed separate beds and hotel prices in theater district were crazy. This was a decent hotel with good sized rooms. It’s time to rewalpaper or paint. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was very close to a subway station and allowed us to take a bus to the East side of Manhattan just two blocks away. Our room was very quiet.

Are you kidding me
I have stayed at hostels that are better appointed. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the shower was hot. Other than that, this place was seriously worn down. It is totally insane that I paid five hundred plus per night. For that I would have stayed at over the bridge in Jersey at a Motel 6 and it would have been on the same quality at 1/5th the price.

As other reviewers have stated, the property is old and a bit shabby. It is clean, however, and the beds are very comfortable! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. It is very convenient to the subway, and walkable to lots of great restaurants, museums, and Central Park. I would stay there again.
