The only drawback to this Hotel was the significant long wait for the elevator. 2 out 3 elevators worked and they were small NYC elevators . 41 floors.

Overall a good stay. My main complaint is the elevator! The wait for the elevator is insanely long. The entrance is on the ground floor and the lobby is on the second floor. You will have better luck taking the stairs. The building has 44 floors and 3 elevators. So, the wait can be an hour or so long. Most of the staff was friendly but, some of them are kind of rude. The Italian restaurant is great but overpriced. Calamari and pasta cost me $80 for room service.

Overall, many positives, however there were two major negatives: Firstly, although the hotel has at least 40 floors, only one small elevator in operation most of the time even though three existed. Secondly, the card key for the room did not work properly during the entire stay. The card key not working meant having to go up and down 30-something floors each time I got locked out. One staff member rudely blamed me as if it was my fault, even though I kept the key away from my phone as they had instructed. I understand things don’t always work, but being snapped at when I just had to walk down 30-something floors was very upsetting. Otherwise, the room was beautiful and clean and the bed was super comfortable! Free coffee, soap, shampoo, and conditioner but no microwave or fridge. The hotel is walking distance from the World Trade Center and it is very easy to get to and from the rest of the city by Subway. The parking garage is nice and priced reasonably, but it is a few blocks away. Okay though so long as one person waits with the luggage while the other gets the car, but if that isn’t possible, I think the hotel may hold luggage in the lobby. Would stay again only if I didn’t mind leaving early the morning of checkout since everyone checking out at the same time caused incredibly long delays waiting for elevators that kept skipping floors due to being too small.

On the day of checkout, I went to the luggage storage area to leave my luggage and want to pick up after.Upon arriving, there were no staff members present at the luggage storage area, from the time I checked out until I reached the storage area. Instead, there was only a sign indicating that luggage could be stored within a specific timeframe. Based on this information, I assumed it was acceptable to store my bags and left them there. Approximately 15 minutes later, I returned to retrieve my luggage. At this point, a staff member had appeared in the storage area. When I attempted to enter the area to retrieve my bags, the staff member loudly reprimanded me in front of other guests in the hotel lobby. He questioned whether I had noticed a line there and, when I explained that I thought it was acceptable to enter, he continued to interrogate me aggressively. He asked, “You thought? Whom? Who served you? If no one helped you, why did you put your luggage here? Whose responsibility is this?” There was no signage or clear indication stating that guests must wait for assistance to store or retrieve their luggage. Moreover, no staff member was present at the time I initially stored my luggage. The staff member’s accusatory tone and public scolding made me feel disrespected as a customer and guest of your hotel.

Taking the elevator is a 15-30 minute process. Youll miss appointments. They literally only have 3 for the entire property and SOMETIMES ONLY 1 WORKS! It made me late for my dinner reservations i planned months ahead. Sad to say i was too late to eat there.
