I was notified mid day of my reservation that they could not provide me a room. So I was removed to another one of their properties. This separated me from the rest of my party. Also, the area around this room was exceptionally loud throughout the night.

I’ve stayed here many times and it’s always been great. Staff are very friendly and helpful and it is exactly what I need when staying in TriBeCa. Near the subway, restaurants, groceries, drugstore. I feel very safe here.

Pictures do not match the rooms at all. My room was terrible, so loud I could t sleep all night. They were kind enough to refund me some money and cancel the following nights but would not stay there again or recommend if you can afford something better.

The overall stay at Sonder was not bad, however, I gave it a 3 star as the HVAC unit on the building failed and had to be reset thus resulting in our room raising to 81 degrees and after being reset, never falling below 77 degrees. When I went down to request a fan as instructed by the concierge onsite, there was no one available. Room was quiet, and plenty dark at night. No shower door though, leaving plenty of room for water to get out and onto the bathroom floor.
