There was a tick found in our bed — just 2 hours after checking in. Staff didn’t seem too concerned or bat an eye when I asked to switch room. New room was just as dirty/dusty with a molded shower head. It was unfortunate that our experience was ruined and couldn’t sleep or shower peacefully during our full stay.

Wouldn’t stay here again, but it’s not terrible

The location was great and reception staff were all nice and friendly. I loved that they had multiple water stations across a few floors. They provided yoga equipment (blocks & mat) and also resistance bands per room, plus a container of Clorox wipes to clean it, which was a nice touch. Heating and air worked great in the room, hot water and pressure were good in the shower! The setup of the bed (single King) was odd because you really only had access to one side of the bed (the other was too close to the wall). The carpet unfortunately smelled like mildew which was unpleasant and distracting. The elevators took a long time, but the stairwell is marked and the floors are pretty short.

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Brooklyn, just steps away from shops and restaurants and close to subways. I appreciated being able to walk around without needing to use Uber or Lyft. It’s also conveniently close to the subways, making it a prime location. On top of that, the hotel staff were excellent—friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The EVEN was surprisingly quiet, so that was nice. Bathroom door a little odd (on a slider and the handle was actually kind of sharp), and the in-room coffee maker was broken, but because of that they gave us free coffee in the cafeteria off of the lobby, and even more appreciated, removed the occupancy tax from our bill. Would definitely recommend as a solid place to stay, especially if you just need a good place to sleep (as opposed to hanging out in the room for any length of time—it is pretty small).
