Comfy stay in the middle of Manhattan.
Well located hotel as it’s 10 mins walk from central station. Room was spacious, clean and with all the amenities you need for a comfy stay. It was also very quiet considering we were in the middle of Manhattan. Low points were the breakfast that we paid for all 4 mornings, but we only had it once as it took ages to be prepared and to be honest the quality of the food wasn’t that good either, so don’t bother of including breakfast in your booking. Service at the reception could have been friendlier and let us known when checking out about all the extra charges and taxes we needed to pay after our stay as we only got an email with the surcharges after we left. Overall it was a good experience, but those points need to be improved.

Hotel was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. We decided on this hotel because they offer a really nice breakfast in the morning. Not just your traditional continental hotel breakfast but but a real breakfast. However, on Christmas Day after waiting in line for 30 minutes and seating ourselves at the table for 10 minutes, they told us that the kitchen was no longer taking orders. That was very disappointing after we had waited almost 45 minutes. They could have told us while we were waiting in line. I even helped them bus two tables because they were so busy. That was poor planning on management’s part. Even though the workers were hustling and working hard, they were not staffed to serve the amount of customers they had and Christmas Day was very disappointing for us. Management needs to rethink breakfast in general. Although the menu is great, the one time we did have breakfast, it took 45 minutes to get our meal. If they’re going to offer breakfast, they should do a buffet style because the system they have is not efficient. I don’t think I would recommend this hotel. It is not conveniently located near major attractions and with the issue of breakfast every morning, I would not recommend.

Overall stay was decent. Front desk girls are not very friendly especially the overnight ones except Lynn or Lian can’t remember her name exactly, she was very polite and helpful. The room is small, but clean. Breakfast honestly is the downside of this hotel. It takes 30 minutes to get a simple veggie omelet. I got there at 6am and i wasn’t given the omelet until like 6:35am and it was cold. My mother’s bacon egg and cheese biscuit was also cold. They didn’t have fruit or steak that was on menu, the entire stay. The fingerling potatoes are always raw in the center. Breakfast sucks honestly.

Decent hotel and well located in Mid town. Short walk to Grand Central and Chrysler building. Most staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast and gym were ok, lift/elevator system a little frustrating, sometimes you’re waiting a while. Also had to wheel our own cart of luggage to the room, due to nobody available to help us.

The cleaning personnel were not very thorough with the provision of towels, cups, stirrers and often overlooked on throwing the trash. Breakfast system is messed up. Hotel guests are usually left waiting for an hour just to get food. There is no real waiting line on who was first to the restaurant just based on the server’s vision and gut feeling. This is often very frustrating and left us clueless about what is next. You have to request for the kettle and toothbrush separately as it is not provided in the room. Other than that, the room is great!

There was only one server at breakfast who was very overwhelmed and unable to meet the demands of persons dining. At Dinner, the server paid no attention to us. When I approached him he told me dinner is serve downstairs in the restaurant. I asked if we can order from here, he then said yes he can take the order. The hotel should have more than one server on the floor or have a floor manager access to ensure all customers are attended to especially during busy times. Front desk staff seem clueless when asked a question. Rooms were cleaned daily and the housekeepers were very pleasant.

This was an excellent hotel. Staff, cleanliness, location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get into it too. I also do NOT play about water pressure and temperature and the showers did not disappoint! I will stay here again

This was perfect for our weekend stay in NYC! The location is so convenient as it is close to grand central and other attractions that we wanted to see! The staff was wonderful and the place was so clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean as well. The mini fridge in the room also was a plus! Would love to stay here again!

A great option in NYC! Close to Grand Cemtral Station, walkable with suitcases. Plus, easy walk to restaurants on Lexington Ave., Bryant Park and Rockefeller Center. Rooms are New York size as to be expected!

Expensive breakfast
Room was clean and comfortable. Location was great, central station and Times Square within walking distance. Breakfast was a let down , not much to choose from, mostly egg dishes and the price was really expensive. I asked for toast and got 2 slices for 8 dollers. And no peanut butter.
