The hotel is located very close to Penn Station and many other famous landmarks of NYC. The room is clean and neat, the beds are comfortable, complimentary breakfast is a very nice money-saving service for guests. The only drawbacks are only two elevators available, so sometimes the waiting time is long, and the options for daily breakfast are almost unchanged.

First, the staff was so pleasant. Every single person at the front desk, those who held luggage, those at breakfast - it was a lovely feeling to have smiling faces, and helpful hands, and capable helpers. Second, the bed was firm and new, and I love a firm mattress. There were a few different thicknesses of pillow, that is a big deal. I like a thin pillow and I got one, as did a friend. It can ruin a night's sleep to have a thick pillow for me. The room also blacked out which was great. It was also quiet. Third, I don't know any other hotel that has a real breakfast, not just a muffin and a cup of coffee. I was also very happy to have a gluten free bagel that was brought to me warmed. I so appreciated breakfast and an gf option. On the suggestion side, I'd have liked a second hook for a bath towel and a place to put the hand towel. I'd have liked to be able to control the heat more. I could turn it off during the day when it was too cool, but I wanted it cooler at night and I couldn't get it below 67. For sleeping I'd like 62, but even 64 would have helped me sleep better. Again, first kudos go to the staff who were just awesome.

We would most likely return during our next trip. The staff was all very nice, the hotel was clean, and it was a great location for the things we wanted to do. There were two main things we didn’t care about the property. First, the elevators. Three over the weekend we waited for over 10 minutes for the elevator to get to us on the 14th floor. We weren’t the only ones. They were numerous other people that were staying there that were complaining about the same thing when we were talking to them. Secondly, the seating area for breakfast was way too small for a hotel of that size.

Rooms are extremely small and hotel was overcrowded. Hotel seem to be popular among group tours and school trips. With overcrowding, creates elevator queue and wait time. Hotel location and reasonable price seem to make it popular, so if you looking to stay close to midtown attractions at reasonable price choose this hotel but ready to deal with overcrowding and small rooms.
