Our stay was wonderful, the room was clean and neat, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was fabulous! However the hot water in the shower was only warm....barely warm! Everything else was great!

We'll be back to stay here again. The front desk staff and door man were wonderful! We weren't fans of the breakfast but everything else about the room and facilities were great. It is right by the police and fire station so we heard lots of sirens but it's New York so there's always going to be loud noises. We definitely recommend staying here.

Convenient location but rather noisy, with many sirens (police, fire, etc) in the area. Property could use some updating. Pillows were too flat and room was way too hot (turned heat down as much as possible and eventually turned it off). Cucumber water in lobby was a hit or miss, often empty and no one refilled. No option to purchase coffee in hotel - have to use in room machine or go outside. Front staff not particularly friendly or personable other than one young man who checked us in (sadly, didn't get his name).

We had an amazing time with our family. Location was perfect and rooms were good sized for a family of 5. Everyone was very friendly. we do wish they either offered some sort of room service or free breakfast for the price paid for the tooms

Noisy, needs a refresh
Long overdue for a refresh. Windows do not keep out the cold or noise. Great location, but not worth the price. Breakfast was ok (scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, filter coffee), but there's a restaurant next-door with more options. Will not stay here again.

We came to NYC for an overnight. The Fifty was the perfect location to walk easily to every place we wanted to see. The room was very nice (though the soap containers hadn’t been filled, and the fan in the bathroom was broken), and it was relatively quiet. Romeo, the doorman, was AMAZING! He was so kind and helpful. Our porter and valet were also incredibly kind and helpful. We loved our stay and would definitely go again! We highly recommend.
