Busy, crowded hotel with a college vibe

Loved the decor and the proximity to a great breakfast spot. We had a tiny room that had blackout shades and a warm, comfy bed. Because the room was small, we wanted to use the lounge, but it was often occupied by private groups.

the location is good and the price is right. however, do not expect anything other than a decent crash pad. if you are looking for a cheap place to crash, this is good enough but its not great. The place is old and outdated. The photos look bright and airy and cool but its dark and dingy.

Good for short stay. Room was extremely small. The bathroom was the size of a closet. When washing our face water would get all over because sink was barely bigger than a dinner plate. Lighting was awful and flickered. Maid left dirty washcloth near bed.

1 of 3 elevators out of service. Often waited multiple passes of elevator to get up and down to our floor. Over 10 minutes. The rooftop cafe/bar was closed for renovations or season and front desk staff did not make us aware of the mezzanine hangout or bar area. Front desk staff not super welcoming or friendly. Room was clean and maid service great.
