The Graduate hotel was a great location with access to the public transportation system to travel into the NYC. We'll be staying at the hotel on future visits to NYC. The staff was professional and accommodating. One of the best experiences visiting NYC.

Wonderful hotel experience—to be repeated!

Delightful location 4 min walk from the Roosevelt island Tram. Pleasant service, clever, attractive New York Art Deco decor, comfortably-sized room, great bed and bathroom, well ventilated with amazing view of the city across the river. Will definitely return!

NYC’s best kept secret

The Graduate Hotel was perfect for our needs. It’s close to all of NYC’s attractions and ideally located on quiet Roosevelt Island.

Stylish room in a cozy area

This was the hotel we had always hoped to stay at, ever since we lived on the island and watched it being constructed and eventually opened following the COVID pandemic. As anticipated, the room was exceptionally stylish, offering a stunning view and excellent food at the restaurant. However, despite the hotel being relatively new, there were signs of wear on the furniture, visible dust on the floor and in the corners, and a coffee stain on the table. That being said, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the location is outstanding. It allows guests to remain close to Manhattan while enjoying a quiet, cozy atmosphere with ample outdoor space on the island.

Good quality hotel in a lovely safe quiet escape from the city- but still easy access to central sites by subway or cable car/ tram ( both 5 minute walk). Felt a little cheated as rooftop terrace only open to visit a few evenings and only to over 21( teenage daughter upset!) - got impression was a rooftop cafe not a weird bar/ nightclub vibe ( had to show id and be escorted by a security man!). AND cheated again by the pool situation- would have to pay for 2 of our family to use it each time - only one person free. I knew it was in the sports centre next door, but I assumed entry was included in the cost of the room! And it’s £12 pp per visit. But beds comfy, towels fluffy and large, lovely view of NYC, would stay again & recommend. Nearby cafes and pizza/ restaurants made it all easy.
