It’s a very nice place to stay. Very quiet. We’ve stayed here 2 weeks at a time twice. Some things that could be better…..all the planters on the patio were dead. They have free coffee every morning but it’s terrible and they let it run out. If you are an extended stay lodger, you will need to ask for a deeper clean of your room. Breakfast for 4 was $160 in their restaurant. It was just ok. Overall, quiet and cleanliness are at the top of our list so would stay again.

Love the location and was thrilled with the property and room. My only issues were the drinking water situation as it was very difficult to get water (not sure if there was a water fountain or fill station somewhere?) and then I didn’t love security continuously asking “where I was going” every time I was going to the elevators up to my room. I believe it’s due to the roof deck access but that has nothing to do with me as a paying customer of the hotel specifically. It was bordering on offensive but I’m going to give them a pass under the assumption there was some sort of incident recently. I HIGHLY suggest management addresses this immediately.

Overall disappointed. The hotel lobby and rooms are quite small. Room lacked basic amenities. The pool is off site at another property, only available certain times. Not many dinner options available. Staff very stand offish. Atmosphere was not friendly or inviting in my opinion.

5 stars I absolutely love the Graduate Hotel on Roosevelt Island! This has become a special place for my husband and me — it’s our go-to whenever we’re in the city. The service is always top-notch and the staff are consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful. We stayed in a beautiful king-size room with an incredible view of the East River and Manhattan skyline. The bed was super comfortable (those pillows are amazing!), and the overall vibe of the room was cozy yet stylish. One of the highlights for me is always the bath products — the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smell great and feel luxurious. The restaurant downstairs also serves delicious food, and the whole experience is consistently seamless and enjoyable. Location-wise, you can’t beat it. The F train makes getting into Manhattan or Queens quick and easy, but you also feel like you’re escaping the chaos of the city when you’re on the island. We truly love this place — can’t wait to come back again!

A Peaceful & Stylish Escape at Graduate Roosevelt

I recently stayed at the Graduate Roosevelt Island by Hilton, and it was such a unique and refreshing experience. The hotel has a clean, modern aesthetic with fun, collegiate-themed decor that makes it feel both classy and playful. My room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, big windows, and a beautiful view of the East River and Manhattan skyline. It was the perfect mix of cozy and contemporary. One of the best parts of staying here was the location. Roosevelt Island is quiet and calm—like a hidden gem right in the middle of New York City chaos. The tram ride to Manhattan is quick and scenic, and I loved that I could return to somewhere peaceful after spending the day in the city. Staff were friendly and professional, and check-in was smooth. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities and the overall attention to detail in the design. My only small issue was that dining options on the island are limited at night, so it’s worth planning ahead for meals or hopping back to Manhattan for dinner. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend the Graduate to anyone looking for a stylish, tranquil place to stay in NYC with easy access to the city and stunning views. It’s ideal for solo travelers, couples, or anyone wanting something a little different from the usual Manhattan stay.
