This hotel is fantastic if you plan to use Grand Central Terminal or the subway system or if you intend to spend a lot of time in Midtown. It often offers sale prices as well. Otherwise, it’s average, with an unremarkable lobby, bathroom, and overall décor. The only mirror in the room was above the bathroom sink, and the shower was outdated. However, I would stay here again for the location and price.

Easy check in, nice size room. The problem is the noise. All night there were people talking loudly and dropping things on the floor in the room above mine not sure if it was guest or staff but literally all night. I was unable to rest.

Clean and convenient for an overnight in Manhattan. All the outlets/charging ports we could ask for, and a truly lovely staff. No idea why the shower curtain was missing, but it’s probably been taken care of by now. Breakfast buffet is very good, and very pricey. Would’ve appreciated an ala carte option, since all I really wanted was oatmeal and coffee.

The staff was giving the lowest possible effort throughout. Any call to the front desk was immediately hung up on or set down with no intention of interacting. The bar closed early because they were bored.

The location is perfect! It is connected to Grand Central Station Terminal for subway transportation. It is beautiful and staff are friendly. The housekeeping staff were sure to clean our rooms and leave clean towels each day while we were out. Shopping, food, and touring is close. Would highly recommend for your NY trip!

Closeness to Grand Central was the main attraction, which was the last one as it turned out. The reception staff was unfriendly and abruptly speaking, and there were minimum amenities in the room, including a lack of paper tissues, stationary, and one washcloth for the two people. On top of that, they charge you with a so-called destination charge of close to $40 per day, and they also charge you for leaving your luggage after the check-out, which is unheard of. Oh, and breakfast in the hotel restaurant is $50! Twice as much as in much better restaurants near by.
