Missing Room from Hyatt Regency Times Square Reser

Subject: Urgent: Missing Room from Hyatt Regency Times Square Reservation - 73180321773292 Dear Hotels.com Customer Service, I am writing to report a significant issue with my recent reservation at the Hyatt Regency Times Square occurred today, July 25th. My booking, confirmed through Hotels.com, was for two rooms at the Hyatt Regency Times Square for July 25th to July 27th under booking reference number 73180321773292. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was informed that the hotel only had a record of a single room reservation under my name. To resolve this situation and ensure my travel party had appropriate accommodation, I was forced to pay directly to the hotel for a second room for two nights. This additional charge was unexpected and entirely due to an error in the reservation process through Hotels.com. I kindly request a full refund for the cost of one room for two nights that I had to pay directly to the Hyatt Regency Times Square. Start-up issues

Hotel had just been renovated and changed from Crown Plaza to Hyatt 3 days prior. Parking garage was under construction, Check-in people were being trained. Tried to get some drink glasses delivered, never delivered. TV was not hooked up to basic cable. Otherwise the room was very nice.

The check in took almost 1 and half hours, we had to move our other plan s just because we were in line for check in for long time. On top of that the staff kept disappearing from the front desk leaving almost 20+ in check in line with no info of what was going on. Once we got to check in the desk person did not even apologize. The room it self was nice and the location was really convenient but rating staff and service was not as expected.

This hotel seems brand new but was not ready to be opened. Check in took over 1 hour, no smoke alarm in the room, and toilet was not properly installed as it did not flush half the time.
