The room was nice and very comfortable. The check in staff were kind and smiling, even at almost midnight. The reason for the lower rating was that the hotel didn't have the resources to take care of the crowds of people who came down for an early breakfast and basically camped out in the dining area. On our first attempt to get breakfast, sometime around 7:30, we found all the serving dishes empty and simply left. We came back an hour later and there was food but no place to sit down and eat (hardly enough room to move, with all the luggage). So we grabbed the bare minimum and ate in our room. I could only assume that there was a large group of people all traveling together who needed to eat breakfast early. By the time we left around 9-9:30 a.m., operations seemed normal, but the situation wasn't really fair to a lot of the hotel's guests.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and quiet. Hotel shuttle transportation from JFK -- after baggage claim, take sky train from JFK to Federal Circle for free--and at that point click on the hotel email link to request pick up. Shuttle came promptly. Going back to JFK from hotel, shuttle takes you directly to the departure terminal for your airline.

Was not expecting to have to pay an additional $40. A night for parking. I had no trouble with the shuttle but people needing shuttles at popular times were unable to get a reservation. There were many unhappy people checking in and finding out there was no shuttle available the next day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were average. Hotel is overpriced for facilities and rooms.

RESERVATIONS were NOT kept we reserved a king in July for September test since we arrived late they told us that they no longer had any Kings available because I checked in late When I I showed them my communication with them informing them that I would be coming late then they said sorry but they were Overbooked. Room was 2 queens and no price difference. Room was cleaned but someone had smoked there previously even though it was a non smoking room so it smelled
