Had to contend with a barking dog for 1/2 hour. Staff had to wait until owner returned to remedy this. Property needs to assure that pet owners assure that pets not disturb other guests.

First of all this review DOES NoT reflect on the staff, especially the front desk and especially Adel. They were great. I arranged to pay when I arrived and spoke with someone at the hotel to confirm. The day before we were to leave someone at the hotel attempted to charge my card and not the one I was going to use. I had to refuse the charge canceling that card and rendering it takes for the trip. There was no dresser. For a 9 night stay we had a small stand alone closet, not a single drawer, even in the night stand, one chair that could use a deep clean, and one footrest that needs replacing. The heater looked old and beat up but worked. The room was pretty bland and depressing. The shower door didn't have a good seal so water got all over and the shower did not drain properly. One plug in the bathroom did not work. The carpet war pretty old , rough in the feet, and gross. The plug on the desk needs replacing. I couldn't buse the plug because a plug kept falling out. The hallway floor was horrible looking. The breakfast room was small which is fine but the furniture needs updating. I Sat at a bench and the table came up to my chest. It was ridiculous. Also, staff has to go in and out through a door in the breakfast room for things and every time a cold rush of air flooded the small dining room. On occasion a staff member would prop it open! It's winter!!!! As far as breakfast, it was not up to Hampton Inn standards. have more but out of words available.

This hotel was in a perfect location. Great bar Pennsylvania 6 bar for enjoying a great drink, Friedmans restaurant for breakfast had delicious food, Japanese ramen restaurant that had lines of waiting people proving food is excellent and Paris Baguettes bakery on the corner for pastries and coffee. All these mentioned locations are on the same street plus lots of iconic places very close to hotel. Bed was super comfortable. The only downside was that the elevator was always very busy and had to wait or take the stairs to get downstairs. But excellent location for our trip.

The room were clean, free breakfast was good. Friendly staff. House keeping did not come during our stay. Homeless people sleeping right across the street in front of the hotel. Not the most well lit area to walk at night.

Stayed for three nights and the location was brilliant on 31st Street just off 6th Avenue. Not a huge hotel I think there are only 8 rooms per floor from memory which makes quiet. We were on the top floor (19th) and as is typical in New York you can hear the emergency services during the night and horns beeping, but the bed was comfy so was easy to get back to sleep. The room was small, but was not an issue with three off us staying as we only spent time in sleeping or getting showered. The shower was decent and hot which is good to refresh after a long day. Heather was good and did warm the room quickly, did not have it on at night as it was loud when operating but the duvets were thick to keep you warm. Added bonus of a safe in the wardrobe (this is also small but didn’t affect us) to keep belongings secure whilst out. Breakfast was good enough to put us on for the day and was self serve, if anything more choice would not go amiss but this would then increase the hotel staff so can’t complain. Hotel staff were friendly when interacted and also when overhearing them deal with other clients, we had no issues during our stay and they were happy to take our suitcases for safe storage from check out to collection to the airport. Overall I would certainly return to this hotel when I look to return in the future.

The rooms were ridiculously small. No one to put clothes. Not even room to unpack your luggage. Our toilet clogged multiple times. No toilet paper or soap. Our a/c stopped working at night.
