The staff was great. Niecy was so helpful. We love that we could check our bags at the hotel and explore before check-in, and after checkout. The room was a nice size for a New York hotel room. Updates. Definitely need to be done. The only problem we had was that heat was not controlled by a thermostat and the plate was missing from the unit so we had no idea how to turn on our air or heat.

From check-in, the experience was bad. The receptionist was rude, and I had to wait 40 minutes to get my room. The ice machines didn’t work on any floor, which was very frustrating. On top of that, I was charged for bottled water that I thought was complimentary. The worst part was the breakfast: scarce, bad-tasting, and not hygienic. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was fine, not wonderful, not horrible. Just average. The room could do with updating, it's showing it's age. Overall this is a good place to stay for a few days. I would stay for a couple or few days again.
