Very good!
Great stay! The location was absolutely convenient. The area is close to restaurants, subway, sightseeing places. The hotel is in good condition. We really appreciated the shower, it had a very good water pressure which we needed to wash the long hair. The staff is very friendly and professional. I recommend this stay.

Hampton Chelsea hotel
Great location, central to most attractions with good links to the subway nearby. The hotel itself is a little tired, but not a major issue. The elevators could do with an upgrade as 2 old elevators struggled to cope with all 19 floors at busy times. The staff were attentive and helpful, particularly Maria in the breakfast room, who always had a smile despite being rushed off her feet. The free breakfast is good, but got busy and there is limited seating space, so be prepared to queue.

Sharon, who checked us in when we arrived after 2 a.m., was amazing. She provided a warm welcome and gave us all the relevant information in a timely, friendly manner. Breakfast was great and everyone working the breakfast area was helping. The staff didn't start putting breakfast away before it was technically over, as is the case at many hotels. Our room was on 2nd floor and many people used the staircase instead of the elevator. The fire door beside our room was ridiculously noisy causing some noise issues. There was also a weird scratching noise one morning that woke us up because it was strange and loud. Otherwise, an amazing stay in a great neighbourhood.

Service was great. They will hold your luggage even if your room isn’t ready. Check in is at 3pm, but our room wasn’t ready until 3:20. Elevators were pretty good. Breakfast was on time and really good.

Good area, and convenient to have breakfast. Rooms were small but good. Quite loud within the hotel (not from outside traffic/sounds). The doors to the rooms and stairwells are not soft close and slam loudly every time someone goes in/out. Breakfast buffet uses all plastic cutlery and paper plates which seems very wasteful and not enjoyable to eat off of. On our last morning there they chose to test the fire alarm system at 8am, and then again about an hour later.

Great location with a friendly, accommodating front desk staff. The hotel was clean. Breakfast was great. We booked a city view room, but unfortunately the view wasn't great. Other than that, everything else was solid. We'd stay here again.
