Pretty hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. My only negative was the price of the drinks in the lounge. $74 (not including tip) for a round of 4 vodka/clubsoda (singles not doubles ) was very high.

It’s a nice property and good location. Here is the one thing I thought was petty and cheap. I arrived very early from an overnight flight and asked for early check in as had a meeting to change for. Rooms were available and ready and yet the hotel wanted 500 dollar early check in fee. We settled at 300 as I was desperate. I thought this was the cheapest lousy penny pinching thing a luxury hotel could ask for considering the rate was close to 1000 a night. Room was just sitting there. Really turned me off and will likely never stay there again.

Considering this is my first time staying in this hotel, there isn't anything I didn't like. I felt free to move around, utilize the gym, transportation, etc. The rooftop bar is a must. I didn't have more time to spend there, but the view and the music were awesome. B1

I loved how special the hard rock is to me especially growing up and understanding how legitimate the musical recognition is. I must say that despite housekeeping doing their absolute best nothing could take away the cigarette smoke smell that lingered through out my stay. I’ve never sneezed so much while trying to sleep and enjoy my stay. That was a huge bummer consider it’s a smoke free facility. Also for a hotel that’s renowned for their hospital, i did rot the facility about this being th first time to this single mom to come to New York and though its not customary to request special treatment and accommodation, I figured if anyone could make this trip extra special it would be the HR but despite me announcing several times our first NY experience and this being a super special occasion for my daughters birthday- nothing stood out. Not a single perk or acknowledgement from staff. That was a huge bummer cause I thought I could rely on HR to really go out of the way to make it extra special. I was really hoping for the HR to help out this single mom In really making this a special occasion my daughter. Something special would have made this a memorable occasion.
