For the most part the hotel was good. The first 2 days I was there my room would start to reak of pot - I think it came from the room next door. I realize it's legal but it should not be allowed in a hotel. Once the person left my room was scent free. The 2nd elevator would be shut off and we were forced to use just one. Saturday morning I waited 4 rounds - each time it came it was packed - finally I walked down the stairs. Sunday night and Monday morning it was only one elevator again. Otherwise things were good and my room was clean. Really liked having the coffee maker and fridge.

No freight elevator so the staff are continually using the elevators, one elevator was down most of the time I was there so I had to wait plenty of time to leave in the morning. The gym was functional but not very clean.

One of the elevators was broken and led to long wait times, but otherwise it was a fantastic stay. The room was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. The breakfast service was delicious, the staff were incredibly kind and competent. The area was super convenient and also has a ton of flower shops! It’s also a short walk from Korea Town and tons of good eats.

This small property has the comfort, clean even the back stair ways and elevator, cute, cozy with warmth, friendly and caring staff. I asked for 2 bottles of water. Lorraine, one of staff easily handed them to me. My husband and I just arrived from Boston and guests came with suit cases. Staff understands that travelers are tired and need a place to rest. We made the best choice of place to stay in NY. My husband is a doctor who is recovering from long treatment but matters not. We were not asked of what profession we do. We traveled a lot and I worked and lived in Europe. I am a psychotherapist in MD and DC but currently working in the city because of my passion in alcohol and drugs use. Thank you Hilton Garden - 121 W 28th Street NY NY - you are the best!

There were multiple bloodstains on the carpet in our room, bathrooms were in very bad condition, bathtub was gross has paint chipping everywhere and mold in the corners. Elevators and main door not functioning throughout the 5 day stay. The property needs to be repaired and refurbished very badly
