Good location.
The hotel was located in a good location. It was about 3/4 blocks from Penn station. The subway was down the block. The hotel is located in the floral district so you will be surrounded by lots of Foliage. The lobby is extremely small. The staff at The front desk were very very helpful and friendly. The elevator is slow. The decor was worn. The room was fine for our 2 day stay. The beds are very comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom needed a lot of work. The tub was peeling as well as the ceiling. Other than it needing some remodeling our stay was enjoyable.

If you re looking for great value, clean hotel with a good breakfast then its perfect. No resort fee's either like other NY hotels which compensates for the following- Windows aren't soundproofed like we have had staying in other NY hotels. AC unit is kinda noisey, but it drowns out the outside noise ! You get used to it though. Tip ! Worth pre paying breakfast through Expedia and paying extra for high floor. Daily House keeping was excellent.

the location was convenient for our stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful. however, it was very noisy and the bathroom had a terrible smell with a sink that would not drain and a broken toilet handle.
