Silly parking procedure

Parking was absurd. Valet said I couldn't leave my car, that I had to check on in first. Later when checking out I learned that they parked my car so.eqhere off-site and it took about 45 minutes to retrieve.

Go anywhere else but here.

Pros: Location was great; easy access to everything for our family vacation. Beds were clean and comfy. Staff was nice. Cons: This hotel is really janky. Restaurant/bar is closed down by the health department. I would not touch the cloudy nasty pool and sauna even if they were open at a normal time (open 7am-noon and 7pm til 10pm?). Front door is glass is patched up with duct tape. We had hotel mechanics knock and enter to check for “life devices” in the room. We paid almost $600 for two nights and the room has doors and shelves falling off, shower creaked so loudly we were afraid we’d wake up our neighbors. And we were supplied with two towels (!). There were 3 of us on the reservation. If I were you, pay another $50 a night and go anywhere else.

The pool area is not open to the patrons all day. It opens in the morning, closes from 5 hours and the reopening at 5:30pm. Staff was 15 minutes late to open. The hot tub was not working. I stepped on medal cover which was off, and the whole exposed. The steam room was not steamy or hot, tiles on the seating area were coming off, them on them as I was walking in, the sauna room as well was not in working conditions.

Ms Jennifer from the front desk was SO HELPFUL, thank you so much once again! She was the only one willing to really help me and make my stay a breeze. Overall it was nice, rooms and bathroom were a little small but we enjoyed our stay. It was clean, and the pool is amazing.

Don’t hesitate to stay here!!

I stayed for five nights: great location for my visit to the US Open tennis tournament and to go into Manhattan for some touring and a Broadway show. Very close to a subway station that served both directions. Excellent staff, great attached restaurant.

Lack of communication between the front desk and cleaning staff. The cleaning staff assumed I’d checked out and removed ALL of my belongings. I still have no word on what happened to my things. No resolution provided and front desk could care less, even though they were the cause of the confusion. I also had to pay a deposit every time I decided to extend my stay. After the 3rd day we moved to the Aloft Hotel for the remainder for our stay in Brooklyn because the Holiday Inn was just poor service all around.

Fix up this place.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the room was in need of updates. The carpet was sticky, the windows were smeared, the door slammed, the bottom gap on the door should be sound proof, and the desk was chipped. This hotel has potential but please fix it up! On a separate trip there was a condom still in the room and all they did was move me. They didn’t offer any credits or reimbursement. Seems management is lacking.
