Rooms have deteriorated since last stay in 2023. Mold in shower and on ceiling. Stain on headboard nice bed which I had to use a Lysol wipe to clean. Bed was right up against window so hard to walk around. Very tight space for a King bed.

The property was clean and in a convenient location. The front desk staff and valets were all very friendly. The room was small, but on the 9th floor, so it had good views and I could see the Statue of Liberty. My biggest complaints were that the electrical outlets were so worn out that plugs just fell out of the sockets, and one of the light fixtures would not turn off, so I had to unplug it to be able to sleep. Also, the green wall in the outer lobby and the lobby lounge (greenhouse) were not maintained well. The plants were stressed, dying, and full of pests; not a great look. Overall, the hotel stay was way overpriced for the level of amenities and features.

This was our second stay, overall the stay was fine. It was weird that some one came in our room unannounced while we weren’t there and made up only 1 bed.

I have never stayed in a hotel that was so unkept. Furniture was ripped and scratched up, hallways were dirty. Luckily the bed was clean. Went to dinner at restaurant a few doors down and waiter insisted on watching me walk be to hotel to ensure my safety. All for over $600/night. Will not stay there again.
