The aesthetic was very nice since I was the staff, but it was really dirty. There were stains everywhere and there was cracks and the sink. It didn't look clean at all. None of the trash had trash bags and none were provided.. also the back of the remote was missing with tape. I don't know just for the price you would think that it would actually be nice.

I paid for early check in and while my husband and I tried to nap multiple staff (housekeeping I assume) entered our room without knocking, the room had already been cleaned, so it was confusing and quite fustrating.

Pretty basic no frills Hotel. Clean, no amenities. Bar downstairs LOUD until 2am so the train directly in front provides a welcome drone to counterbalance the constant bass beat. Front desk staff meh. On the positive, decent dining in the area and a lot of street art.

I like the friendliness of the staff. None was rude. They were all very polite and respectful. Although I didn’t like where the hotel is located, around an unsafe area if I’m walking by myself during the day and possibly more scary during the night. It’s a walking distance to the subway station. There were 3 of us so ok to walk but at night, be careful. We used uber when the nearest subway station was closed. Uber was under $10. Overall, the room was basic, clean, and quiet. We only used it to rest and sleep and with the cost of hotels in NYC, none can beat the price. If you are on a budget and not the scary type, it is worth your stay.

During our stay, city public transportation workers were performing maintenance in the subway lines which affected the aesthetics of the property. There is also a dancing establishment on the ground floor which made the lobby area really noisy at night.

The updated room decor and bathroom looked nice but the bed was not very comfortable. The bar just beneath our room had loud music playing until about 1 am. There was also a large smear of what looked like feces or mud across the outside of our window from someone throwing it from the courtyard below. Brooklyn is pricey, so this was comparatively a good price.

The hotel room was dirty upon arrival, and hadn’t been cleaned. There was also a mess in the bathroom and bedroom. This is located directly above a bar, which played music until 3AM. I was unable to sleep at all, as I had to wake up early. During my stay, there was a fire alarm around 1AM, due to someone smoking Hookah. Management was very slow to resolve any issues we had. There was also an additional $15 fee charged to my card.

Online it says check in is at 3, i came in at about 3:45 and they told me my room wasn’t ready yet since they overbooked themselves. Told me about an hour wait, I called back in an hour and they told me it still wasn’t ready. It was about 5pm at this time already. My sister lives nearby but other family was already staying with her. Otherwise we would’ve been stranded until dark waiting for a room i already paid for. Then they offered to reimburse me a 100 fee ($15 per night) because i brought the late check in to their attention and i still haven’t received that money. No drawers or closet to hang clothes. not even a hair dryer. Walls are paper thin and smells like weed. Won’t be staying here again.

Room was clean and relatively well maintained—although austere. The pillows were lofty and comfortable. The mattress felt cheap and springy. The hotel sits over a nightclub of the same name—which unfortunately fills the hotel with the sounds and rumble from the subwoofers past midnight and somewhat even in the morning. The street/party life below is active and raucous—lots of yelling. All this eclipses the J Train next to the building which proved quaint compared to everything else going on. At one point there was a shirtless, angry man in the lobby lodging a vociferous complaint against his hotel room neighbors. Wouldn’t go back—not worth the money and chaos.
